The administrative workers were kind and helpful, and the student assisting Dr. Hayes on my wisdom teeth surgery was lovely. I was on the operating table squirming and groaning in pain. The student suggested a break. Dr. Hayes asked if it would be a break for him, or for me. The student answered for me, because I was in pain. Dr. Hayes brushed that off and continued. Hayes was generally irritable and patronizing, but it has been over a year and a half and I have not forgotten the feeling of being on that table. My only reason for posting this is hoping that someone considering Dr. Hayes will be fully informed before they entrust him with their physical autonomy

Dr. Hayes and his team took exceptional care of my daughter during her wisdom teeth removal. From start to finish, they were kind, professional, and made the entire experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. We truly appreciated the excellent care they provided. And as an added bonus, we absolutely loved Lucy, the office dog—she made the visit even more special!

I needed an emergency extraction. They got me in right away. The dr is wonderful.Made sure I understood everything. Once he started he kept me up to informed on what he had done and what was next. I’ve always been scared to go up a dentist, however the practice and staff has made it so I’m not scared and trust them 100%. The dr, staff and business deserves an A +++++.

Dr. Hayes removed my enormous tori. It can be a difficult surgery for both doctor and patient. The surgery went well although he did chip my front tooth but it was taken care of the next day by my dentist. Dr. Hayes was very professional as well as personable. We share an Air Force experience and love of dogs! So happy I had this done. It allowed me to finally get the Envisalign that was not possible prior to this surgery. Also office staff are very friendly and accommodating!

Dr. Hayes has worked on me twice now. And I can’t praise him and his team more! The service is phenomenal and he is a deeply skilled dentist. The team is warm, his assistants are efficient and very professional. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! This is the place for a true pain-free dental experience!

I do not have enough words to highly recommend this oral surgery center. I had to go there for a biopsy and they are more than accommodating. The office staff is amazing and Dr is awesome. And for an added benefit, Lucy, the office greeter is amazing and she loves greenies if you’re going there. Thank you all as I appreciate each and everyone of you so much.

yesterday we encountered an emergency need for an oral surgeon. we asked friends and every one recommended coal creek oral surgery. we were given an emergency appointment that same morning (the surgeon said they leave spaces open for just such emergencies). easy to find and central in lafayette, the office is modern, clean, comfortable, and accommodating. the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and caring. the doctor was a "real doctor". he has vast experience gained in part through his service to our country, yet with a warm and open bedside manner. he and his assistant Mel walked us through all the options, related details, costs, and recovery ..... and the path forward was not only clear, but was available to us that very day. an hour or so later, they had performed a complex and delicate procedure to perfection. later that evening, a question arose and the surgeon was himself available by cell phone to answer and reassure. post op day one and the pain is gone, the condition is so well treated, and we are confident that the repair was done right the first time. i believe we will have a smooth recovery because of the skill and finesse of Dr. Hayes, his staff, and his facility.

I got a referral to Dr. Hayes to get my wisdom teeth out, and as someone who is extremely afraid of the dentist and anything related to oral surgery, Dr. Hayes and the surgical assistants put my mind at ease. Dr. Hayes answered all my questions with no condescension and thoroughly explained exactly what was going to happen. I had a consultation on a Monday and surgery on that Thursday (4 wisdoms plus a molar removed). Later that day, they called to check on me, which was very nice. I have had little to no pain the entire time! During my two follow-ups, the surgical assistants have answered every single one of my questions, checked to make sure everything was healing well, and even took out some stitches that were really bothering me. Dr. Hayes also stopped by to check on me. Throughout the past two and half weeks, the front desk, surgical assistants, and Dr. Hayes have been wonderfully attentive and willing to help anytime. While I obviously don’t remember the actual surgery, I do remember being so well taken care of and that is what matters most to me. I truly appreciate everyone there!

Dr. Hayes and his team are the absolute best in the business. I’m a general dentist and out of all the specialists in my area, he is the one I bring my kids to for their wisdom teeth. Dr. Hayes has an excellent chair side manner, precise surgical skills and his pain management technique cannot be beat. My middle kid just had his wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Hayes and he’s doing awesome. I highly recommend this office. The doc and team are one of a kind.
