Dr. Brett Helton has practised since 2001, and the office is equipped to make restorations on the premises. A CEREC unit mills crowns in-house, which collapses the usual sequence of prepare, temporary crown, wait for the lab, return, into one appointment for cases that suit it. A 3D cone beam scanner and digital panoramic X-rays support implant and reconstruction planning. Nitrous oxide is offered for patients who struggle to sit through appointments. Scheduling is split around a midday break: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 5:00 p.m., with Friday mornings only and no weekend clinic. Major insurance plans are accepted, and CareCredit and in-house financing are available for larger cases.

The hardest job in cosmetic dentistry is not a full set of veneers; it is one crown sitting beside an untouched natural tooth. A natural incisor is never a single colour. It is translucent at the biting edge, more saturated near the gum, and carries fine surface texture that scatters light in a way flat porcelain does not. Matching that in one unit means choosing the shade early in the appointment, before the tooth dehydrates under rubber dam and looks lighter than it really is, sending good photographs to the laboratory alongside the shade tab, and sometimes accepting a second try-in. Two matching central incisors are a more forgiving job than one. Veneers carry their own condition: enamel is reduced to make space, so the tooth stays veneered for the rest of its life. Bonding costs less and can be undone, but it stains and chips sooner.

The general side of the practice covers preventive care, fillings, root canals, gum disease treatment and TMJ complaints, plus crowns, bridges, dentures, implants and full mouth reconstruction. That breadth means a phased plan — stabilise decay and gum health first, rebuild second — can be delivered without moving between offices halfway through.

If jaw pain or waking headaches are what prompted the call, mention it when you book. A TMJ evaluation takes considerably longer than a routine examination and needs the time set aside.
