We had an excellent experience at this dental office. The staff is welcoming, professional, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Dr. Giannacopoulos and her team are extremely knowledgeable and thorough.

I had a billing dispute with Commonwealth Dental Group related to post-procedure follow-up care after a crown procedure. I returned to the dental office at Dr Mizner's request due to continued pain and sensitivity following the procedure. Unbeknownst to me at that time and unexpectedly, the follow-up visit was billed to my dental insurance as an evaluation, which exhausted my limited annual insurance benefit for evaluations. As a result, when I later returned for my routine bi-annual examination and cleaning during the same calendar year, that visit was denied by my insurer and I was billed personally. I was not informed that the post-procedure follow-up visit would be billed to my insurance. I was not informed that it would be billed in a manner that would exhaust my annual benefits. In my prior experience with dental providers, including my son's prior treatment at this same practice by another dentist, follow-up visits related directly to complications or sensitivity after a procedure were not separately billed as evaluations. Based on that history, I had no reason to anticipate that this visit would be treated differently. I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the dental office on multiple occasions and continue to dispute the validity of the charge and they have sent this to a collection agency rather than working it out with me. As a result I no longer recommend this dental practice.

Dr Smith, filling in on short notice for Dr G did a superb job rectifying a disintegrating molar with some impressively deft moves to salvage the tooth and avoid a root canal.
