About Concerned Dental Care of Westchester

Most general practices refer specialist work out. This one keeps it in the building. Concerned Dental Care of Westchester occupies Suite 103 at 35 East Grassy Sprain Road, off the Sprain Brook corridor in northeast Yonkers, and has run since 1977 as a multi-specialty office where the endodontist doing your root canal, the periodontist treating your gums, the surgeon taking a tooth out and the orthodontist straightening what remains all work from the same chart.

That structure matters most for periodontal disease, which is the quiet reason behind a large share of adult tooth loss. Gum disease destroys the bone anchoring the teeth, and once that bone is gone it does not grow back on its own. Treatment aims to halt that process: the bacterial deposits clinging to the part of the root that the gum no longer covers are cleared away, and the deep pockets holding them are then shallowed, surgically where the depth demands it, until the tissue is a shape a toothbrush at home can genuinely reach. An office with a periodontist on site can move from diagnosis to treatment without a second consultation elsewhere, and can judge honestly whether a doubtful tooth is worth saving or better replaced with an implant.

The prosthodontic side handles what comes after: implants, crowns, bridges, dentures and partials, inlays and onlays, and porcelain veneers. Same-day restorations are available for suitable cases. Routine work runs alongside it, including exams, hygiene, sealants, tooth-colored fillings, in-office whitening and digital imaging. An intraoral camera is used as well, and its practical value is argument-settling: a magnified photograph of a fractured cusp or a leaking margin ends the question of whether a restoration genuinely needs replacing faster than any description of it can.

On access, East Grassy Sprain Road suits drivers coming from northeast Yonkers, Tuckahoe and the Scarsdale side, and it is a longer trip from the waterfront and Getty Square. Weekday hours start at eight in the morning and there is a Saturday clinic, which helps when treatment needs several visits. One realistic note about implants: if periodontal disease caused the tooth loss in the first place, expect a plan that treats the gums first and places implants later. Skipping that order is how replacements fail early, and any office quoting implants without assessing the surrounding tissue is quoting on incomplete information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which specialists actually work in this office?
The practice lists general dentistry alongside endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics and oral surgery, so root canals, gum treatment, extractions, braces and implant restorations are all handled within the same building. For a complicated case that means fewer referrals, one set of records and less repeated explaining. Ask at consultation which clinician will handle each stage and how the visits will be sequenced across the plan.
Can gum disease be reversed?
Early inflammation of the gums can be reversed with thorough cleaning and a home routine that actually reaches the gumline. Once the disease has destroyed supporting bone, that bone does not regrow on its own. Treatment then aims to stop further loss by removing deposits from the root surfaces and reducing pocket depths so the area can be kept clean day to day. Maintenance visits, not a single treatment, keep it stable.
What does a same-day restoration involve?
It means the crown, inlay or onlay is produced during your appointment rather than at an outside laboratory over two weeks, so the tooth is prepared, the restoration made, fitted and bonded in one sitting, with no temporary to come loose in between. Not every case qualifies. Heavily worn bites and demanding cosmetic work on front teeth may still be better sent to a laboratory technician for layering.

Dr. Ndoj and hygienist Paula are total stars! They made my dental visit not only feel easy but something to actually look forward to. Paula did my cleaning and was amazingly gentle and thorough. Dr. Ndoj has a wonderful chairside manner: patient, incredibly knowledgeable, explaining issues in a way that actually made sense, with zero pressure to do unnecessary work. With Dr. Ndoj as my dentist and Paula as my hygienist, I know my teeth are in great hands!

I have no idea how this place has 4.2 stars. Only thing I can think of is the reviews are fake. Check yelp also. I’ve never had such terrible service with a dental office. It’s very difficult to get someone on the phone to ask questions. They do not respond via email either. The dental staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. When I asked for a copy of X-rays for a second opinion, I couldn’t get anyone on the phone. I sent 2-3 emails, where I also received no response. Finally , they asked me to send a Hippa form, which I did within an hour. Still no response. When I threatened to report them to better business bureau, they said go ahead and said they are allowed 30 days. It’s been over 2 weeks now. Previous dentists helped with the same request same day. In the meantime, I’m not able to get my second opinion without repaying for X-rays. Do not come to this place. I rarely give bad reviews. This is the 2nd bad review I’ve given in my life.

This was my first dental visit at Concerned dental and I must say I am totally impressed with Dr Moeb And his dental assistant. I was greeted with respect and professionalism. The dentist was very patient, thorough And knowledgeable . He explained everything in a very patient and unhurried manner. As I left the consultation, I felt relieved and confident that I am in good hands .

Be careful! The animals at The BRONX ZOO are treated BETTER! Being treated like a number is one thing—but being treated like an ANIMAL is completely unacceptable. Treat your patients with some dignity and respect. Honestly, my dog my fur baby has been treated with more care, acknowledgment, and compassion than I received here. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, and I made that clear from the beginning. I booked this appointment over two months ago, yet I was asked to come in at 8:00 AM. Because I have responsibilities and a job, I kept my original 12:00 PM appointment and it truly felt like I was made to suffer the consequences for that. There was a clear lack of communication, consideration, and basic respect for my time and comfort. As a patient undergoing a stressful procedure, the experience felt cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily drawn out. No one should feel like they’re being “punished” for keeping the appointment time they were given — especially after waiting months. Do better.

I am always treated with professionalism and dignity in this office. Dr Ndoj is one of the nicest dentists I have ever encountered. Most of our personal experiences with dentist are not positive. Dr Ndoj's chair side manner is outstanding. He makes his patients very comfortable and more importantly, confident that they are receiving the best dental care. He greets everyone with warmth and compassion, something that I feel is lost in that field. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I must say that my appointment yesterday was amazingly excellent. From the moment I entered the building I couldn't believe the professionalism of the staff in all the departments. Such kindness and concern for me. The hygienist Marilyn did such a great job she was kind and patient with me, also the ex Ray technician and last of all the examining doctor who had excellent bedside manners. The front desk was so helpful with filling out the forms. The place was clean and it so refreshing seeing everyone working together. I would recommend Concerned Dentist to everyone. Thank you so much for having me as a patient. Please keep up the good work.
