I had swelling in my gums that had gotten really bad very quickly. I reached out and Dr. Crawford was able to see me on short notice. The staff was very friendly. He was very knowledgeable and caught something that other dentists never informed me of. He was able to treat me and prescribe medicine and an action plan that had the swelling go down and pain to go away within a week. I highly recommend Crawford Family Dental to anyone looking for a dentist in Springfield IL. Updated: I've been a patient of Dr. Sean Crawford for years now, and without question, he's the best dentist I've ever had. My wife and I both trust him with our dental care, and that's not something we take lightly. What sets Dr. Crawford apart isn't just his skill and expertise—it's how much he genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. You never feel like just another appointment on the schedule. Beyond being an outstanding dentist, he's an even better person. His compassion, professionalism, and commitment to providing excellent care are evident in every interaction. The entire team creates a welcoming environment, and it's clear they truly care about the people they serve. Amazing company. Wonderful dental practice.

We took our son here based on recommendations from family. Dr. Crawford himself was great, but unfortunately our overall experience wasn’t. Over two years later after our son’s date of service, we received a $31 bill from a debt collector without ever receiving a bill from the office first. When we called to discuss this information, we realized the front office staff entered both our phone number and address incorrectly, even though we filled out a paper registration form at our visit. We were also told that form was “immediately shredded” after being entered, which makes it even more frustrating. Just really disappointed with how this was handled and the lack of communication. We would never return nor recommend this dental office given this experience.

Dr Crawford is the absolute best dentist I’ve ever gone to! I had a lot of cavities as a kid, and Dr Crawford replaced several that I have been putting off getting take care of. He uses a topical solution to numb your gum so you don’t even feel the needle! It was completely painless and so quick! My family just loves him and the care his office provides! 1000% recommend!

Great service and amazing staff

Dr Crawford and team are phenomenal. I have been a patient of his for a long time. After my young daughter had a traumatic experience at another dental office, I brought her to Dr. Crawford and she is no longer scared and the anxiety of going to the dentist has greatly lessened due to them being understanding, kind and patient with her. I can't recommend this dental office enough!!!

Dr. Crawford Family Dental provided a professional and friendly experience. He was very willing to answer any questions and calm my anxiety of the procedure. His office made sure the prescriptions needed were in place for comfort prior to and following the dental work. There is a great level of communication and trust in Dr. Crawford's work.
