Friendly, professional and very efficient

I used to live locally but now travel from East Sussex for Edyta and Joanna and the welcoming staff at this dentist. I’m not sure how long this will be sustainable. The staff make it the welcoming place it is. Shame that the prices keep rising though. Despite the excellent service everyone could enjoy, the cost is prohibitive to most. That is sad for the staff doing a great job, and the clients that can no longer afford it. Please keep this practice affordable.

I am an 85 year old woman and have attended Crescent Lodge Dental practice for more than 25 years. During this time I have been treated with respect by every member of staff. They always put me at ease. Each treatment has been explained to me in clear and understandable language. I thoroughly recommend this practice.

UPDATE What a difference a dentist makes. My usual dentist (Joanna) contacted me 3 days after my very unhappy experience for an emergency consult and I couldn't be more delighted with the experience. Firstly I was treated like an adult and taken through all the possible causes. Secondly they even used a new piece of kit that does a 3D image of the teeth. The result; I don't need a root canal and if I do in the future I will ensure it is my dentist that does it. Thank you Joanna and the front of house crew who made me feel so much more than someone to be taken on a whistle stop tour of my bank balance. Below is my original post. I feel railroaded into a procedure I may or may not need and at considerable cost. This is not the first time. There was no discussion. Just bosh, booked in. Someone should have talked through the situation as a medical professional would do. I feel monetized. My usual dentist there (I couldn't get an appointment with her) is so not like this. Very, very upset. (A client of over 20 years!)

I was a member of the smile plan for 16 years which includes 6 monthly hygienist and check ups, plus discount on treatment. Over that time I've had a number of dentists and hygienists, but all operated to a very high standard.

Alex Aresdahl and the team at Cresent Lodge have been amazing so far with my Invisalign treatment. Exceptional customer care, service, I felt incredibly safe and comfortable with Alex working on your teeth. I could not recommend this practice and their dentists more highly if you are looking for Invisalign treatment or general hygiene services.

I have always received top tier care from Dr. Andreas Jahnigen and Marie and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are skilled and attentive with an expert holistic knowledge. Thanks to their care I have seen a big improvement in some dental-related health issues that I had been suffering from. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Jahnigen and Marie for the expert treatment I have received (and continue to receive) from both. You will not find dentists anywhere else in the UK with such a strong combination of attentiveness, knowledge, and care. Highly recommended!

It was my first appointment at Crescent Lodge Dental Practice and I can't recommend this practice highly enough. The location is very easy to reach via public transport or by car. As soon as I arrived, the welcoming atmosphere helped me feel at ease and the professionalism of everyone involved in my appointment was evident from the start. The reception staff were polite, supportive, and genuinely cared about making patients comfortable. I have a very complex dental history and have always felt nervous about explaining it to someone new and trusting them with my care. However, Dr Andreas Jahnigen and their dental nurse Marie made me feel genuinely cared for. They listened to me patiently and with empathy, which reassured me from the outset. Dr Andreas Jahnigen was incredibly thorough in his examination, taking a comprehensive approach to my dental concerns. He clearly explained my opinions on my dental issues which made me feel empowered to make decisions about the next stage of my treatment. He quickly identified the main causes of an ongoing inflammation and began addressing them during the visit, while also recommending further steps. My gum felt less inflamed just a few hours after the appointment. Dr Jahnigen was generous with his time and shared his extensive knowledge and professional views on my case. Marie, the dental nurse, was equally professional, very well prepared, calm and efficient throughout the visit. I also received a detailed written plan and recommendations, summarising everything discussed, which was extremely helpful as it's not always easy to remember all the information during a visit. If you are nervous like me, you will be in safe hands here.  I highly recommend Dr Andreas Jahnigen and dental nurse Marie to anyone seeking compassionate and thorough dental care.
