About Cross Creek Medical Clinic, PA

Cross Creek Medical Clinic, PA operates on Medical Drive in the Douglas Byrd area of Fayetteville, North Carolina. At the core of a general dental practice is preventive and restorative care: checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, and screening for decay and gum disease before either becomes a bigger problem. It is the kind of appointment most people need on a routine schedule rather than only when something hurts.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway. I have been to clinics in Fayetteville and this cross Creek medical clinic is the Worst of them all. They made me a appointment over the phone for 9:00 am I show up just to be told by a nurse that the doctor would not see me just because I was on oxygen and have stage 3 COPD. This facility should be shut down.

This is not a scam or spam review. if you post that I will report. I was unsatisfied With the service. Dr Nitin Desai does not spend enough time with patient. Don't ask question. There been multiple times when I was asked about my blood pressure medication, I don't take blood pressure medication. I was also over prescribed a medication that have life long side effects and the worst part it has another doctor's name on it who didn't prescribe it. The staff is good. Update. Do not ask people if they have urinary tract infections over the phone and then prescribed something without actual test results. You overprescribed levofloxacin 500 mg for 30 days. Now I might have a lifelong side effect Nurse Mary Everywhere I search online only suggests 7 to 14 days. I called to make sure if this was the proper dosage and she told me "whatever the doctor says" "are you nervous about taking the medication?" Instead of asking the doctor This was the 10th day of me taking the medication. By the day 20 of me taking it I realized I should stop taking it. ~ Update It was brought to my attention I was given medication for a chronic prostate infection when I didn't have one which resulted in me getting nerve issues. I Was not given medication for UTI. Doctors and nurses should be helping patients not hurting them. You should be fixing issues not creating new ones.

Just went to this doctor office for the first time today and he is not what everyone is saying he is. He was very disrespectful to my wife and failed to listen to her. Then he told her to get out. I do not recommend this doctor office for anything. Find someone more attentive and caring because he is not that.

Terrible customer service. You will spend more time with the nurses or staff members than the doctor. Dr. Desai will give you about 5 seconds of attention and then he is gone. When lab work is done, you will never get a call to discuss results. I've had 3 done and they just give me the paper copy, but nothing is discussed. They do not provide refills on medication unless you go to another office visit (to charge the insurance companies more), instead of offering refills for medication that is regularly used. This doctor office also takes a while to submit prescriptions. I went to the office on a Tuesday morning with high blood pressure and still more than 24 hours later, they have not sent the high blood pressure medicatoin to the pharmacy. This office also charges a lot for if you change your appointment less than 72 hours from your appointment date. I do not recommend this doctor at all.

I’ve been coming here for my FAA flight physical now for years and have always had a very pleasant experience. The staff are all very nice and the appointments have always been timely and easy. If you’re a pilot needing to get your medical done this is a great place to do it!

I have been coming here for about 5 years now for annual health checkups and my Class 1 medical. The staff is always friendly, accommodating, and straight forward. I love how they schedule patients for minimal wait times and the appointments are always quick. Dr. Desai is always very supportive and helpful with my FAA questions and required information.

I have been a patient of Dr Desai for 27 years. He is wonderful! His staff is exceptional and always has time to listen. There’s always a smile when you walk in. Refills are always available through the pharmacy. Labs are in house.

I’ve been going here For my federal aviation administration flight physicalsince 2017. Excellent experience at Cross Creek Medical Clinic for my airline pilot flight physical. The staff were friendly and professional, and the doctor was an expert in aviation medicine and helped resolve issues to keep me in the air! Highly recommend!
