Crossbank Dental

I saw Dee this morning with a dental problem. He was amazing and solved this very efficiently. And his nurse Molly was so friendly and helpful too. Thank you!!!

I don't like going to the dentist - I never have, since I was a child. But. Helen is lovely and makes it a relaxing experience. I'd highly recommend her and the team at Crossbank But.... Why doesn't your best dentist get a photo on the bookshelves like the other dentists......

Excellent advice and treatment. I was very pleased with the speedy treatment delivered with great care. The dentist sorted a triangular gap between two teeth that had caused me great trouble for many years with food filling the space. I am delighted with the results

Linda is a great dentist, so friendly, not preachy about flossing etc, gentle and caring, I would thoroughly recommend her. She's probably the best dentist I've ever had! Losing a star on this review as Crossbank is expensive and the Dental Care plan prices keep rising and rising!

Me and my mum have had several bad experiences here, my mum had a root canal done and they only did half the job, took nearly 2 hours, she got 2 awful infections, where they charged her £200 pound a time for antibiotics when they then agreed to take the tooth out after previously refusing. I had a tooth extraction, and at the time just tapped my card onto the reader as I was in so much pain! And needed the opposing tooth out in preparation for braces or Invisalign’s. But for one reason or another, they did not charge me the full amount on the day of the extraction, and never told me. I call up 6 months later (I’m a uni student, my insurance had covered the initial tooth extraction), and apparently I never paid anything on the day! I denied this, they said they’d call me back and check with the accountant, they never did. I call up another month later trying to book in again, and was accused of still not paying, and will need to pay £300 now or I am unable to book in. I refuse, ask them to check with the accountant again and I never get a call back. I call up a final time (this is a year of back and forth..) and I finally get to speak to the accountant who originally tried to charge me a late fee, but then agreed to the whole mishap being staff error and we got the price down to £130 or roundabout. I now still need my opposing tooth out, so call back again to see another dentist as my previous dentist is booked up which is fine! She calls me and says can you come in in 2-3 hours for a consultation and I said no, but they need X-rays. Of what? The tooth needs to come out for my Invisalign’s, don’t see why I need a £200 consultation charge when it can all happen on the same day, x ray then extraction. We were both equally rude on the phone and clearly pretty fed up with receptionist back and forth. Finally, receptionist calls me back and quotes me just over £500 !! For X-rays and tooth removal in 2 weeks time. I politely decline and say I will go elsewhere, but thanks for their time. I appreciate their busy, and their books may be scrambled from time to time, but no Thank-you, not again!

I visited the practice for a complex wisdom tooth extraction. I can’t fault the care I received. The staff were efficient, friendly, and reassuring. I was fully informed about the procedure and risks involved and was very pleased with the outcome.

Highly recommend - Great service from the moment you arrive at the practice. I have now enjoyed several years of pain free oral health - from the initial straight talking consultation, diagnosis, dental work and ongoing maintenance plan from Neil to regular hygienist visits to the excellent Linda, I couldn’t have wished for a better service.
