About Crossroads Dental

Crossroads Dental is at suite 300, 16100 Sand Canyon Avenue in Irvine's Medical and Science Complex — a location on the Sand Canyon corridor near the UC Irvine Health campus and the business parks around the Interstate 5 interchange. The Medical and Science Complex area is a planned employment centre housing medical offices, biotech research facilities, and healthcare-adjacent professional services, drawing a patient population from the office park employees as well as the surrounding Irvine residential communities south of the freeway.

Sleep apnea treatment and bruxism management are both listed — a clinically coherent pairing that reflects overlapping patient populations. Bruxism, nocturnal tooth grinding and clenching, is associated with sleep-disordered breathing at rates significantly higher than in the general population: obstructive sleep apnea causes micro-arousals that trigger bruxing events, and both conditions are often present in the same patient. A practice managing both sleep apnea appliances and occlusal guards can assess whether a patient needs a mandibular advancement device, a conventional bruxism guard, or a combination design addressing both airway maintenance and occlusal protection — a differentiation that matters clinically.

Endodontics is in-house, which for the Sand Canyon office park population means that the most common cause of acute dental pain — irreversible pulpitis requiring root canal treatment — can be managed without a separate endodontist referral. Emergency dentistry is on the list for same-day access to acute cases. In a professional employment area where scheduling flexibility is limited by work commitments, eliminating a specialist referral step shortens the treatment timeline considerably.

Dental implants with oral surgery capability provide the surgical infrastructure for tooth replacement. Braces and Invisalign cover orthodontic cases for adults and children. Paediatric dentistry and family dental care round out the household service coverage for Irvine families in the surrounding residential communities. Sedation dentistry is available for procedure consolidation and anxiety management.

For Irvine patients along the Sand Canyon corridor — particularly those in the Medical and Science Complex employment area who want comprehensive dental care with sleep apnea management, bruxism evaluation, and endodontic capability in-house — the suite 300 address at 16100 Sand Canyon provides that clinical depth in the northeastern part of Irvine.

Had an excellent experience at this dental office, And I can’t say enough good things about the entire team. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable. I especially want to recognize Sanaz, the dental assistant. She was absolutely amazing, kind, patient and incredibly attentive. She took the time to explain everything clearly , checked in on my throughout the visit, And genuinely made sure I was comfortable the whole time. You can tell she truly cares about patients, not just doing her job, but doing it well. Her positive energy and professionalism made me huge difference in my experience. The office is clean, well organized, and runs smoothly, which made the appointment stress-free. If you are someone who gets nervous at the dentist, this is definitely the place to go. They really know how to make you feel at ease. Highly recommend this dental office.

I must start off this review with the disclaimer that I was offered to have the teeth whitening procedure (one I had requested of my own accord) comped in exchange for this review. I was *not* asked to provide a specific rating, and I was not asked to say anything specific. I have been going to Crossroads Dental since it was at its old location. It has recently moved to Sand Canyon and has new staff. That being said, I feel the level of care and service the team provides is that same high-level of care that I received at the old location. I go to my regularly scheduled cleanings and check-ups; the dentist and hygienist have been very thorough in going over my x-rays with me and explaining how I can take better care of my teeth and gums. The office has asked me to reschedule an appointment once, but the receptionist team was very kind, apologetic, and understanding that my schedule can be quite rigid. I leave every appointment happy with the service I received.

We've been going to Crossroads Dental since it was owned by Dr. Moon the original dentist. This facility has changed with so many dentists over the years after Dr. Moon left. Dr. Moon was an honest dentist, but the following dentists after Dr. Moon left felt like they were just trying to get the most money possible from each appointment. They're also not accommodating and will gaslight you just so they're right in each situation. They lied to us as well saying the hygienist already left but he was still there and that they called us the day before and left a voicemail but we didn't have any missed calls or voicemails from them. We've been loyal to this facility until now after a bad experience with their customer service.

Do not go to this predatory clinic. They will try to upsell expensive procedures, and if you decline them, you get subpar service. $3000 for wisdom teeth removal? No thanks

Everyone who gave this practice a 3+ start is either lucky or a straight paid liar. In short, I am almost 100% sure I got a pink eye infection from this place. I tried with first time visit, x ray, teeth cleaning, and general checkup. Dentist hinted deep cleaning, and later prescribed laser treatment. I never had one, and truly regretted not Google it up before I signed my $200 away to this place. The front desk girl explained to me that the laser is going to remove the gum so the new gum tissue can grow back which turned out to be 100% BS. The teeth clean was below average and splashed water all over my face and heck. The protective Goggle was filthy to say the least. There were multiple times mist got into my eyes and I did remember it clearly. Towards the end of the cleaning, the hygienist put out a tiny box with a little light stick and used it to shine my teeth, that's what they call laser treatment. The total laser treatment time is about 2-3 mins. Now on to the pink eye. I woke up the day after the dental visit with a swollen left eye, painful to open my eyes. I came back from the urgent care with eye drop antibiotics. My left eye is still in pain. This is just my experience with this dental practice, feel free to try your luck there.
