About Daybreak Dental

Daybreak Dental is a four-dentist practice on South Congress Avenue in South Austin (78704), with Drs. Chang, Rausch, Singh, and Aamir covering general, restorative, cosmetic, and sedation work in one location. The clinic serves the Zilker, Bouldin Creek, and Travis Heights neighborhoods that surround the South Congress corridor, with a service mix designed so most families can keep their full dental care in one building rather than bouncing between specialists.

For everyday and restorative work, the practice handles routine cleanings and exams alongside dental implants and Snap-on Dentures — the latter being implant-supported overdentures that snap onto a small number of placed implants for patients who want denture stability without a full implant arch. Dental crowns, root canals, tooth extractions, and wisdom teeth removal are all done in-office. Cosmetic dentistry covers porcelain veneers, professional teeth whitening, and broader cosmetic work. Orthodontic options include both Invisalign clear aligners and Candid Pro Aligners, with the consultation walking through which approach fits your specific bite. Sedation dentistry and nitrous oxide are available for patients with anxiety or for longer procedures, and emergency dental care has its own scheduling slot.

If you want a South Congress practice with four dentists, broad sedation options, and a service mix that covers everything from cleanings to Snap-on Dentures, this fits.

The clinic uses digital X-rays, 3D imaging, and oral scanning technology that smooths the impressions-and-fittings part of crown, implant, and aligner work. Most major dental insurance is accepted, and the cost picture for cosmetic and orthodontic treatment plans gets walked through before any work begins. Searches that bring patients here include family dentist near South Congress Austin, Snap-on Dentures and dental implants in 78704, sedation dentistry for anxious patients in South Austin, Invisalign and Candid Pro Aligners in Zilker, emergency dentist near Bouldin Creek, and wisdom teeth removal with sedation in South Austin. The practice suits patients who want the depth of a multi-doctor team with the location convenience of a South Congress address.

A South Congress practice led by Drs. Chang, Rausch, Singh, and Aamir — offering implants, Snap-on Dentures, Invisalign, sedation dentistry, and emergency care for South Austin's Zilker, Bouldin Creek, and Travis Heights neighborhoods.

Had such a good experience during a checkup with Dr. Priyesh Patel and Krissa - they were thorough, kind, and explained exactly what my next steps should be. Highly recommend this office to anybody looking for reliable and trustworthy dental care! The office staff was also very pleasant and outlined a clear cost breakdown with my dental insurance. 10/10 experience!

I've always had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist because of past traumatic experiences. I almost canceled my appointment, but I'm so glad I chose Daybreak Dental on South Congress. I've been a patient here since I moved to Austin in 2023, and I've always had a great experience. I've never had any issues with overbilling or surprise charges, which I really appreciate. Dental care in the U.S. can be expensive, so I usually get my fillings done abroad and come here for my X-rays and twice-a-year cleanings because I trust this team. A huge thank you to Ellie, Dr. Patel, Rand, and Karla. Ellie is amazing. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and never made me feel rushed. She used both the ultrasonic scaler and hand instruments to make sure every tooth was thoroughly cleaned. As someone with dental anxiety, that level of care meant everything to me. I also appreciate Dr. Patel for giving me options instead of pressuring me into treatment. He explained everything clearly and let me decide whether I wanted a filling or preferred to monitor the tooth. That's the kind of honesty that keeps patients coming back. Rand helped make the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. Everyone treated me like a person, not just another appointment on the schedule. And then there's Karla at the front desk. She greets you with the biggest smile and a set of pearly whites that should honestly be on the clinic's billboard. She's the perfect first impression for Daybreak Dental. Let's be honest if you're walking into a dental office, seeing a friendly face with a confident smile immediately makes you think, "Yep, I'm in the right place!" If you have dental anxiety or are looking for an honest dental team that genuinely cares, I highly recommend Daybreak Dental on South Congress. They've earned my trust since 2023, and I actually don't dread my dental appointments anymore which is probably the highest compliment I can give a dentist!

I had a great experience with Dr. Patel and the whole team. Everyone was so friendly and made me feel comfortable from the time I walked in. Dr. Patel took the time to explain everything and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. I also really appreciated that the fees met my expectations and everything was explained upfront, so there were no surprises. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'll definitely be coming back. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist they can trust.

Do not recommend. Shady billing practices -they billed me for services my insurance explicitly marked as not billable to me, then gave me the runaround for months instead of fixing their own error. I switched to Daybreak Dental for a routine end-of-year cleaning that’s fully covered by my in-network insurance, and it’s been nothing but a headache since. They didn’t review the records my previous dentist sent showing I’d already had x-rays done that year, so they redid imaging that wasn’t needed -and then billed me for it. After I disputed, they removed one charge but kept trying to collect on another that my insurance specifically marked as not billable to the patient. When I called my insurer directly, I was told it’s the office’s responsibility to correct, not mine -yet Daybreak kept pointing the finger at insurance instead of fixing it on their end. Trying to bill patients for services their own insurance says they can’t charge for is shady. I will not be returning.

Don’t go there for Dental work they wanna charge you $300 just to clean your teeth and to take pictures. The pictures cost more than the cleaning or x-rays as they call them. I can’t imagine what the price is for some actual dental work even my insurance company told me not to use them again.! I almost forgot as soon as you sit down, your greeted with a priceless to pre-pay for cash.! Services.

What I really appreciated about my experience here is how streamlined and efficient the front desk and my dental hygienist was. They treated me with kindness and truly did a great job with my cleaning. I learned a lot about my teeth in the process as well because April was great at explaining everything! So glad I finally found a great dentist office!

While the staff is very nice, my experience over all was not what I'd expect from a dental office. I have specific circumstances that require things done a certain way to continue to keep the integrity of my teeth. No notes were taken or entered and this lead to an unpleasant 2nd visit/cleaning. Followed by billing issues and a general feeling of disregard I cannot say I would return.

I had such a great experience with Krissa at Daybreak Dental in Austin. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. Going to the dentist can be stressful, but she has such a calm and reassuring presence that it honestly made the whole visit smooth and easy. She was very thorough, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood what was going on before moving forward. I never felt rushed, and she took the time to answer my questions. You can tell she really cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, kind, and detail-oriented, I definitely recommend booking with Krissa at Daybreak Dental.

Have been putting off getting a crown for years. I didn't quite "trust"/get a good vibe from the previous providers at Daybreak, but when I met Dr. Singh, I just knew I could trust her. I chose Dr. Rausch initially because he went to Northwestern Dental School which is where my sister trained (in hygiene) and I was familiar with the academic quality. I left my lifelong dentist when I moved to Austin and for 5 years have not found a dentist in town that I trusted as everyone (I met) in town oversells and is "crown-happy." I'd like Dr. Singh to be my "forever dentist." She's the one! I knew the crown was necessary as my brother is a dentist and the writing was on the wall. Dr. Singh was painless - even the initial numbing injection with that looong needle was absolutely fine due to the face massage they do at the same time to take your mind off of it. Unfortunately, the practice changes practitioners often, which is of concern - and others have mentioned it in their Google reviews. I had loved Liz, my hygienist for 4 years, but she's gone and there's another one. I had a cleaning by a temp hygienist a few months ago and she might as well have been using an ice pick to clean my teeth - she was so rough and heavy-handed. Luckily she's gone. I'm not fond of the new protocol of polishing the teeth prior to the cleaning and by someone who isn't a trained/licensed hygienist. To my knowledge the polishing comes after the scaling in order to smooth out the enamel, then comes the flossing to get out the paste the polishing leaves behind. Usually a dr's office will send letters to patients when there's a change in providers. I'm hoping that Dr. Singh will stay with the practice. I was told to do the crown soon - in Jan. as she wouldn't be there over the summer... Office is very clean and "relaxing" (for a dental office) and the procedure of a crown is done in a private room - not in one of those group areas like the big box dental places have. Staff is great and so helpful - thank you, ladies!!
