Deer Creek Family Dental is outstanding. Melora has wonderful smile and greets you soon as you walk in the door and very knowledgeable. Mandy is very nice and so helpful with insurance. Marcus and Jordan, the dental assistants are amazing and exceptional in their field. Dr. Poertner is wonderful doctor, compassionate, and also exceptional. These people make you feel like family, its relaxed atmosphere, they are top notch. I recommend them 100%. You all are Fantastic. Thank you for making my visits so pleasant. Reggie

I’ve had consistently excellent experiences at this dentist office. From the moment I walk in, the staff is welcoming, organized, and genuinely attentive. The front desk team makes scheduling and check‑ins effortless, and they always greet me with kindness. The hygienists are thorough, gentle, and great at explaining what they’re doing, which really puts me at ease. My dentist is incredibly skilled—patient, detail‑oriented, and committed to making sure I’m comfortable and fully informed about my dental health. I never feel rushed, and every visit feels personalized. The office itself is clean, modern, and well‑run, which adds to the sense of trust and professionalism. Comfortable office, Professional Staff and HAPPY. The atmosphere of the office seemed happy and all staff I interacted with, were both professional and acted like they want to be there. Office atmosphere is a huge part of patients feeling at ease and comfortable. Dental work was efficient. No waiting around in the chair wondering if someone is going to show up. When the Dentist started she was gentle but got the work done quickly. I highly recommend this Dental office and look forward to going back in 6 months.

When I tell you this place changed my thinking on Dentist on dentistry on how kind people are how they care and how they go above and beyond to actually hear what you’re dealing with and will be able to see if they can help you that day. this is one of the best places I’ve gone ever I will never go to another dentist. I will continue to go here and let me just say the workers and the hygienist and all of them that they have are incredible super kind. I’m so so glad I found this place.

I went in for an exam because I knew I had a cavity. They took an excessive number of x-rays, and then I found out after the fact that they were charging extra for each individual one. There was no clear explanation beforehand about how many would be taken or how much the total cost would be. I only went to their practice because I had received a flyer in the mail from them advertising an offer for $129 that included a cleaning, exam, and x-rays. When I asked about it, they told me it didn’t apply because I wasn’t getting a cleaning that day, which felt misleading and makes no sense, since these x-rays and the exam would've been a normal thing for a new patient. Overall, I left feeling taken advantage of and pressured into unnecessary extra x-rays just so they could make more money off someone without insurance. I would not recommend this office to anyone. They are just trying to make a quick buck off you.
