I'm super thankful I found Dr. Salha! She went out of her way to work with us during a lapse in insurance and got our kid taken care of. We won't be going anywhere else while we're in the area. Thanks so much Lena!
Not a good dentist…charges very high prices for mediocre work….has no staff…find another dentist
Lena is like family. I’ve been seeing her for about 6+ years now and she is always so sweet and comforting. She’s honestly the best dentist I have ever had and my teeth look so perfect every time I leave! She’s great at her job and she will personally clean your teeth as opposed to a dental hygienist which is awesome. If you are looking for a nice ma and pa kind of place, this is it. Also, she will set up a payment plan with you if you are uninsured. I am currently insured, but when I wasn’t, she was super helpful. ——————————————————————— Side note/updated review: I noticed some sketchy charges for simple teeth cleanings that have been going through my insurance. She seems to overcharge through insurance, so it’s not something you’ll notice unless you check your insurance statements/benefits. I had given her good reviews a while back, but I’d definitely be wary of Lena. I think there’s some fraudulent activity going on. Idk how 2 cleanings per year with no x-rays would max out my benefits for that year. I have a PPO with Aetna and that’s one of the better plans. I will be contacting my insurance company soon so they can give me more insight.
Absolutely the best dentist in Austin. If you want to feel like your family, or like your dentist cares about you, this is the place to go. Whether you need just a basic cleaning or a couple root canals and some other complicated work she is the most honest, caring and sweet dentist in Austin. Highly recommend her, and if you want to speak French or Spanish, or Arabic or Portuguese, she can accommodate.
Dr Salha has been my dentist for over 20 years. She is an excellent, thorough dentist. She has never done unnecessary work and explains all that she needs to do and why. Her office is clean and looks out into a garden area, which is very relaxing.
Lena is one of the best dentists I have visited in Austin. She is thorough, professional, kind, skilled and has the best pricing. I have been a patient for over a year and she has been a blissing as my dentist. She also has a great insurance plan for $300 which involves cleaning, x-rays, discount pricing for other procedures.
Dr. Salha is one of the most hardworking dentists I've had the good fortune to come across. She herself scheduled my first appointment, checked me in and out, and answers the phone for her own office (so rare in a dental practice). She is such an angel - so kind, welcoming, and adept at explaining procedures & the rationale for the need of them; I won't ever worry that she is charging for more than is necessary. When my insurance pulled some (probably illegal) nonsense, Dr. Salha assured me that she would fight my insurance company on my behalf to provide me with affordable dental care. I'm so glad I found her & will stick with her as long as is possible!
