About Dental Associates

Dental Associates operates on East Wisconsin Avenue in the Juneau Town area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.

Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Cosmetic dentistry covers treatment aimed primarily at appearance — whitening, veneers, bonding, and reshaping among the more common options — for patients who are less concerned with a problem that hurts than with how their smile looks day to day. The right combination depends on what specifically you would like to change.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically. They have cancelled my last 2 appointments and their waitlist is 6 months long. Now I’ll be waiting another 6 months just to get cancelled on again.

The downtown location is very nice. The reciponists are nice and sweet. They do validate parking as long as you park in the grand parking structure. Make sure you take the ticket with you because you will need it to scan to get back to the parking structure.

I love this place. Mary is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. Everyone at this place does an excellent job, highly recommended!

the hygienists are all great but the providers try to force unnecessary procedures on you. also you cannot get ahold of anyone! I tried to call numerous locations five different times and I never spoke to a human being. go to a local place with real people working there. would absolutely not recommend.

Hi. I’m gonna try to break this down to the best of my ability! I have gone to Dental Associates most of my life! So 46 years-ish! So it saddened me writing the bad review under the Franklin site (last year)! When I did, one of the owners responded telling me to reach out to the management at the Franklin location! So I did! Short recap of what happened! (3 times) Work they did didn’t hold up and it caused me to lose half my back lower left molar! I thought they were going to help fix the tooth, so I went in to see the Specialists that the manager (Heather) had me see, but never told me it was on my dime and once the bills started to come in, Heather ghosted me! She wouldn’t return my calls and I even reach out to the front desk a couple times and asked to have a manager call me back and no one ever did! BUT I want to give so much praise to Tina, as she is no longer at the Milwaukee location, she moved to the Kenosha location but she was here when I had my gum graft done in Sept 2025! I had billing issues that kept popping up and not a small billing issue a $10,000 billing issue, I was so scared and upset, it was a billing nightmare! It was paid in full with receipt showing it was paid before my apt for my graft and I still had 8 months of calling and following up on the issue and Tina was great the whole time! Since I already had billing issues with the Franklin location and now billing issues with the Milwaukee location my heart dropped, I felt so lost! But Tina was there helping me the whole time, she was so great! Truly amazing! She is what all management should be like! If I left a voicemail, she called me back! If I emailed, she would reply or call me! She was always so personable, Kind and a friendly person! She even apologized for the Franklin location and helped me with the Franklin issue! Thank u Tina!!! Ur truly Amazing! Kim TO: DENTAL ASSOCIATES, PLEASE FIND A BETTER BILLING PROGRAM/COMPANY/SYSTEM! What you’re doing now isn’t working! So many of your negative ⭐️ reviews/ratings are about billing issues!

Worst dental clinic experience I've ever had. I broke my tooth and I went to their Miller Park Way location because they were able to get me in and x-rayed and I thought that meant they were responsive ans flexible. One i get fitted, I get quoted my out of pocket (~$300) but am told to wait till my insurance confirm and they wouldnt book my appointment to fix my tooth until insurance did so. This took nearly 2 weeks. Insurance confirmed and then I called several times trying to make my appointment. Eventually, I had to show up in person... TWICE ... before they FINALLY put me on the books. When I get to my appointment (nearly 2 months after chipping my FRONT tooth), Im asked whether I want to pay my deposit now or later. I'm thinking total out of pocket is only $300 so deposit cant be bad. I go to pay and they try to charge me almost $1,000. They said insurance was no longer accepted bc getting my tooth fixed was cosmetic. Yes when they quoted me, they said they wouldnt bill it that way because it was not cosmetic... needless to say I had to fly back home to have my tooth fixed by my family dentist almost 3 months after my tooth chipped.
