About Dental Care and Implants of Houston (Formerly Known As: A Dental Care - Greenspoint)

The Greens Road office runs on a bench of dentists rather than a single owner-operator, and that is the practical reason one address here can cover implant surgery, a root canal, an Invisalign check and a broken tooth in the same week. Dr. Bhawsar carries the implant side and completed fellowship training in implantology at Loma Linda University. Dr. Sridhar Eswaran and Dr. Dinh handle general and restorative care. The practice was opened in 2010 by Dr. Firoz Lalani and still trades locally as A Dental Care - Greenspoint, which is why this listing carries both names.

If you are here for an implant, the timeline is the part most people underestimate. The implant itself is a titanium post placed into the jawbone; it then needs roughly three to six months for bone to grow tight against its surface before a crown can be loaded onto it. If the tooth has been gone a while, the ridge has usually shrunk and a bone graft comes first, adding months of its own. Upper back teeth sit under the sinus floor, and when that floor has dropped low a sinus lift becomes part of the plan. None of this is guesswork. A 3D scan shows how much bone is genuinely there before anyone quotes you a figure. The office uses 3D imaging and a CEREC milling unit, so the crown portion of many cases is cut on site rather than shipped to an outside lab. Price tracks three things — how many fixtures the case needs, whether the jaw has to be prepared surgically before any go in, and the material of the finished restoration. None of that is answerable over the phone.

Around the implant work sits an ordinary general practice: crowns and bridges, veneers, whitening, wisdom tooth removal, dentures, Invisalign, and appointments kept open for pain or a fractured tooth. Financing is offered through Sunbit, CareCredit, Alphaeon and LendingClub, which becomes relevant once a treatment plan crosses into four or five figures.

Geographically this is North Houston, near the Greenspoint corridor where I-45 meets Beltway 8 — convenient if you live around Aldine, Northborough or the north airport side, and a genuine drive if you are coming from inside the Loop. Weekday appointments begin at eight in the morning.

Formerly A Dental Care - Greenspoint, this North Houston practice on Greens Road pairs implant surgery with routine general dentistry under one roof. Dr. Bhawsar handles implants with fellowship training from Loma Linda University, while colleagues cover restorative, orthodontic and emergency work. 3D imaging and an in-house CEREC mill keep much of the crown work on site, and financing through Sunbit, CareCredit, Alphaeon and LendingClub is available for larger cases. Easiest to reach from Aldine, Northborough and the I-45 / Beltway 8 interchange.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this practice listed under two names?
The office opened in 2010 as A Dental Care - Greenspoint and is still known by that name locally, while the current listing reads Dental Care and Implants of Houston. Same address on Greens Road, same phone number, same clinical team. If you were referred under either name, or you have older paperwork from the practice, you are in the right place. Mention the earlier name when you call and reception will match your records.
How long does a single dental implant take from start to finish here?
Plan on months rather than weeks. The titanium post goes into the jaw first, then bone needs roughly three to six months to fuse to it before a crown can be attached on top. A bone graft or sinus lift, if your scan shows thin bone or a low sinus floor, adds further healing time before the post can even be placed. The 3D scan taken at consultation is what turns this into an actual schedule for your case.
Can one visit cover an emergency and a longer treatment plan?
Largely yes. Appointments for pain, swelling or a fractured tooth sit alongside implants, root canals, crowns, dentures and Invisalign, so something found during an urgent visit does not usually need a referral across town. For treatment running into larger sums, financing is offered through Sunbit, CareCredit, Alphaeon and LendingClub. Weekday appointments start at eight in the morning, which suits people who prefer to be seen before work.

To start By saying this specific location is very clean and up to par with all their equipment. The customer service is top-notch and very welcoming with a Judge free zone ,also the doctors and workers are actually looking to help to better yourself and dental health. Samantha, the coordinator was very helpful , Supporting and caring throughout my entire process and still is. Dr. Vicky and Dr.Ahmed my oral surgeon Was very gentle, caring and talked me through every step, I am a person with severe anxiety, and throughout it all They steered my anxiety right instead of left. My dental assistants Sadie and Ashley were amazing they inform me very well, Super nice and made sure I was most comfortable if I wasn’t they talked me through the Procedures and comforted me Physically and emotionally. I’m very satisfied with all my procedures done and as many times as I call, they always answer. If you’re having second thoughts About the location don’t just go get your consultation ,speak to Samantha and proceed from there. Also receptionist Lacey was awesome as well today 6/22…Just a little fast forward in time of course I’m a returning patient because they are soo loved😁🫶🏽💕

If you need a good, honest place to get your dental care taken care of. This is the place to be. Karla was amazing here. Her energy was everything. She was really professional and wholesome. The staff, super friendly, and very passionate. They know what they’re doing and you can see it. I had a cleaning done after 4 years, they told me what I needed to know and fixed me up with a game plan. I was in and out without any problems. I’m satisfied. Pull-up and get right. 🙏🏾

Awesome experience. Very kind staff. Juni was the best at explaining plan of care and payment options. Karla was the best! I have very bad dental anxiety. She sat with me and brought me blankets so that i would be more calm. Larry is so awesome. He talked to me the entire time he worked on my teeth. I will definitely refer friends and family.
