Dental Care of Braselton

Very helpful when I called and needed to get in quick due to a toothache.

Patients beware!! They do not stand behind dental work performed there. I had a crown placed 1.5 years ago at this practice, it split in half while eating soft food. I don’t eat hard candy, ice, or anything sticky. Obviously a defective crown the current locum (visiting) dentist Dr Brown accessed, other crowns have lasted for years placed at other past practices/ different insurance. However, to my surprise THIS practice refused to fix the crown THEY placed without my paying an additional 1000K “because the dentist who placed this crown was a locum (visiting dentist).”. Yet, the current dentist Dr. Brown is also a locum……. Therefore why would ANYONE accept another locum dentist, if THIS practice will not cover their locum dental work? This practice does not have a regular staff dentist… I was told “we have all new staff and still trying to secure one” and that this was “standard among dentists”. This dental practice is a joke, with no continuity of care, will not stand behind their work, and horrible business practice. I went to a different practice, was told this was definitively NOT standard dental practice. Shame on Dental sham of Braselton.

It was my first visit to this office, and every staff member from the Front Desk, x-rays, hygienist and Dr. Brown were friendly and considerate. I tend to experience a lot of anxiety attending the dentist, and once I informed them, Heather checked in several times while cleaning my teeth to ensure that I was not experiencing any pain or anxious. I actually felt calm. This was one of the most pleasant and comfortable dental cleanings I have experienced.

My husband was quoted $2,500 at this office for "serious bacteria/treatment" and they refused to even do a standard cleaning. We left feeling terrified and pressured into expensive treatment immediately. We decided to get a second opinion from another highly rated dentist at BGW Braselton , and the experience was completely different. They were able to properly clean his teeth and address what they described as a “major issue” the same day, explained that the issue was manageable, and the total ended up being a few hundred dollars from what we were quoted here. What concerns me even more is that this office also previously tried charging me for treatment that my insurance actually covered. When I asked multiple times for an itemized bill, I never received one. Instead, I received a corrected balance after questioning the charges again. I understand dental offices are businesses, but patients should not have to feel scared, pressured, or confused about billing in order to receive honest care. We will not be returning.

Surprisingly, I had an incredibly unprofessional experience with this dental office. I’d been a patient for nearly five years and scheduled a routine cleaning in mid-January for March 31 at 7AM. On March 30 around 3 PM, they texted asking me to confirm and to send photos of my insurance card, warning I’d be treated as self-pay if I “failed” to do so. Interesting choice of words. After sending the photos, I called to confirm receipt. Instead of checking, the associate asked me to recite numbers from my card. I asked her to review what I’d just sent; she did and then abruptly said they no longer accept my insurance due to new ownership since December 2025. They obviously bought the book of business from the previous provider months ago and “failed” to reach out to customers to flag changes in their insurance policy, and blamed the outgoing provider. While refusing to accept responsibility, they disclosed that their current provider wasn’t credentialed and that they’ll accept my insurance again after resolving the issue in hopefully another few months. NEWS FLASH: the previous owners were credentialed, so the problem is YOURS, not theirs. I asked to speak with a manager, they said she was busy and would return my call the next day. lol They are probably losing customers by the minute at this point. There goes another one!

Came here a few days ago and had an amazing experience. All of the staff were so nice and the woman who took my dental x-rays (I forgot her name 😭) was absolutely amazing and helped calm my nerves. If you have anxiety about going to the dentist I absolutely recommend this place, they walk you through everything and let you know what is going on during procedures. Very transparent with pricing too, they let me know what is and is not covered by my insurance plan and helped give alternative treatment options for me.
