They care about the patients and are informative about the treatments you're getting.
Alyssa was so nice and professional, great experience all around.
I’m really quite happy with dental care. I’ve been coming here for 2 years and will continue. Everyone is super nice!
Dental Care of Edmond has the friendliest staff. They truly care for their patients.
Well, staff was nice. But dont have someone drive for a hour and a half just to be told the price of a procedure and where to get financing. A consultation by the dr would have been nice to get an opinion of what she thought would be the best procedure for me. I felt like i was wasting there time and all of this could have done on the phone. Why were xrays even taken? Just to pretend that the dr was going to see me? L
I won’t be back. My appointment started at 930 and did not end until 1130. I go to the dentist every 6 months and I’ve never had an appointment take that long. They use a lot of technology I’ve not seen at other dental offices that then gets charged to the patient out of pocket at the end of the appointment. I’ve never received an oral cancer screening before. While I appreciate the screening, shining a light in my mouth for 30 seconds and then charging me $10 for it doesn’t seem right. Additionally, I did not expect to have to pay $25 for a fluoride treatment. I’ve not really seen that before either. I would suggest being more transparent about costs up front and also working on speed of the appointment.
Only my second time here. Hygienist was very good and efficient. Explained everything she was doing. Unfortunately the water jet used to clean plaque from teeth was an issue. Hygienist started using tool and I immediately noticed a very odd taste. My throat was getting irritated and I had to cough. I mentioned this to her after I was done with a few coughs. She asked if I had ever had this used on me before and I told her many times. She said maybe the mist was tickling my throat causing the coughing. I told her that this was the worst tasting water ever. After another minute I had to stop again. She then told me she now noticed a bleach smell which I did not notice but my sense of smell is not great. I asked if they had cleaned the lines recently and she asked hygienist next to her and was told that morning the lines were cleaned. I had a 9 am appointment. Obviously the lines were not flushed thoroughly/properly. My hygienist proceeded to flush the water tool until no bleach smell. Then finished with the cleaning. Do not know the procedure for cleaning the water jet system but obviously it was not followed properly. I will continue to go to this office since I do like the care I receive. But the procedure to cleaning the water jet needs to be reviewed with those responsible for that task.
The staff was incredibly inviting, I am usually a nervous wreck at the dentist and they walked me through the process with patience and reassurance. It had been several year since I had been anywhere for dentistry. But I will 100% be back! I highly recommend! I even got to see whatvthey were talking about when it came to the damage from grinding it was a very cool learning experience.
Received the most extensive dental exam I have ever received. The hygienist explain every step and the results upon completion. The exam and cleaning was done without discomfort and I felt very relaxed the entire time. The Dr was also very informative and kind. Highly recommend.
