I’m very happy with Dr. Mian and all her assistants, hygienists, and staff that I have dealt with. They are friendly, professional, and very good at their jobs! I moved from another state about 18 months ago, and have been to Dental Care of Westminster a few times since then. I recently got a crown there. It is the first time I have ever had one that didn’t hurt/bother me for months! This one was comfortable from the time they put it on!
Let’s be honest — going to the dentist is never exactly “fun.” But Dental Care of Westminster made the entire experience surprisingly pleasant. I recently had a crown done, and the team explained every step of the procedure clearly and patiently, which really put me at ease. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a practice that truly cares about patient comfort and communication.
I truly enjoyed my experience. As a new patient, I was a little hesitant because I really liked my previous dentist, but this office exceeded my expectations. The location is convenient with great parking, the staff is incredibly friendly, and even the small touches like coffee in the lobby make a difference. Everything you could ask for in a dental office. I almost don’t want to share how great it is because I don’t want it to get too busy, but thank you for changing my mind. Highly recommend!
The good: the receptionist and hygienist are fantastic. The office looks new, is very clean, and the amount of tech is impressive. So why one star? Background: I'm new to the area and chose this place because it's one of the few that accepts my insurance, was accepting new patients, and had an available appointment within a week. It had been a year since my last appointment, with a different dentist. My experience: After the standard batteries of X-rays, etc., the dentist came in and told me I needed about six crowns, a root canal, and Invisalign braces. Now, my teeth are by no means perfect, but that seemed excessive for a year between dentist visits. Naturally, I was concerned, so I sought a second opinion from another dentist. I didn't tell them anything about what Dental Care of Westminster had told me. I sent the new dentist my old files, and they took the same X-rays that were done at Dental Care of Westminster. My new dentist told me that the X-rays they'd taken that day looked exactly the same as what were in my records from five years ago and that there were no major issues with my teeth. I'm no dentist and don't pretend to be one, but it'd seem like Dental Care of Westminster is an outlier in my experience, and not in a good way. I'm not mad because I was told something I didn't want to hear - I'm mad because someone tried to sell me a bill of goods on some very uncomfortable, time-intensive, invasive procedures I didn't need. So, my advice to anyone thinking about coming here for the first time is "Don't." It's a shame because this place has so much going for it - it's just the one thing it doesn't is the thing that everything else hinges on.
I am never happy about going to the dentist and this was my first time with this practice. All of the staff were kind, professional and thorough in explaining what was being done. I really liked Dr. Mian and felt she was straightforward, clearly stated my options and was kind and considerate.
