Dental One Associates of Columbia

I like that Dental One Associates uses new equipment and technology to improve the dental hygiene results of their patients. The service provided by my hygienist on my recent visit was great!

I love how my dental hygienist helped me on what products to purchase to maintain good dental care! He is the best! The entire team always provides great customer service!

Dr. Rand and Ms. T provided such caring. empathy and kindness when dealing with my dental needs. The whole staff is so friendly and readily greets you with a smile and a warm welcome.

The 1 star is for the technician who did a good job of taking x-rays. This was my first (and last) appointment as per the stated reasons: 1. I went in for a routine exam and cleaning. Upon arriving, I was told that they do not conduct exams and cleanings on the same day. I was not informed of this when I made the appointment. This has never been my experience and looks like they want to bill insurance for maximum payout. 2. After the x-ray, the dentist Dr. Parsana came in, announced to me that I had some gum pockets and that I needed deep cleaning. I politely informed her that I had periodontal cleaning just last year and I am not interested in a deep clean at this time. She proceeded to criticize my oral hygiene routine without asking me what I actually did. 3. I was brought to the front office staff who was rude to me when I said that I did not want a deep clean at this time but would prefer to have a routine cleaning and think about a deep clean down the road. The staff person informed me that they would not do a routine cleaning and I would have to book a deep clean for 2 appointments that would cost me over $1000 out of pocket. 4. I told her that I was not interested and I would like a copy of my x-rays. She agreed to email me the x-rays and I left. I did not receive the x-rays. I called my insurance provider and made a formal complaint for the refusal to care and non-provision of x-rays. As a healthcare professional of 20+ years, I am dismayed to see the lack of respect for - and - service provision to patients. Patients have the right to decide what is in their best interest. It is not the dentist's prerogative to decide on behalf of the patient, and push them towards expensive procedures, even if they believe those to be in the patient's best interest.

I had one of, if not the best experience at Dental One. Seriously, it was amazing. I was treated so well, with the best hospitality from Dr. Rand and Ms. T. I was able to get a professional cleaning and work done, those two are absolute superstars and sweethearts. I didn't have any struggles, I would recommend anyone who needs work done go there! And definitely ask for them, they are a cut above the rest 🤩🙏🏻🤩

I had a great experience at Dental One. From the time I walked in and sat in the chair I was blown away. I first met with the assistant Heather who was so kind, friendly, amaizing and very experienced in her position. She took my xrays and scan my teeth on their Iteros scanner so I can see what she sees. I than saw Dr. Pauk who was amaizing too! He did my full exam which included checking the health of my gums, cancer screening, checked all my teeth (no cavities YEAHHH) They also took actual photos of my teeth and explained to me and showed me what they see. We talked about my concerns. And he addressed it. Then Heather took me to the hygienist Jasmine who was amaizing too!! She was gentle, educated me on my oral health and was just a pleasant person! I definitely scheduled out for my 6 month cleaning! Thank you to amaizing team including the receptionist who checked me in. She created me with a smile and was very familiar with my husband and son who went there before me. She got me scheduled quickly and was able to get me in with the hygienist. Thank you everyone at Dental One!!!!!!

Dr. Parsana and Assistant Veronica were wonderful! This is my 3rd time in the past two weeks. Having appointments and I believe one more to go! All have been amazing! Extremely Talented and personable. Always a great laugh and wonderful service. Shout out to Dr. Dixon as well! Absolutely painless root canal, almost fell asleep. Swift Quality work! -Nathan Jacobs

I had a great experience at Dental One Associates of Columbia. The staff and providers were thorough and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. Scheduling was easy and my evaluation went smoothly from start to finish. There weren’t any major waits, aside from waiting for a printed copy of my treatment plan, which initially took a bit longer than I expected. However, given how detailed and accurate it was and that they provided multiple budget-friendly options, I didn’t mind the wait in the end. Overall, a very positive experience and I would recommend them.
