Look at all the negative reviews before you schedule. They called me every single day for 5 straight days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - and I spoke with their operators all 5 days when I either picked up or called back. Each day they confirmed 1) that I was not using insurance and paying out of pocket and 2) confirmed my orthodontist appointment for my retainer. Each day I told them I talked to them the day before. They continued calling and confirming the same things. Then on Friday they told me, “You scheduled this incorrectly. We don’t have orthodontist appointments on Mondays.” I calmly told the person on the phone that I have spoken directly on the phone to their receptionists every single day this week and confirmed this orthodontist appointment every single day. I then shared that I took off work specifically for this appointment. It’s now Friday afternoon and I will be unpaid on Monday for an appointment that won’t happen. The person on the phone never apologized, just blamed me and said “we’ve been trying to get ahold of you.” I shared, I have spoken on the phone with your associates every day, so that’s not true. Then she said “you scheduled it wrong.” I asked how I would have scheduled it wrong if I called and asked for an orthodontist appointment? She continued to blame me for their mistake then hung-up. Again, not one apology.
Took my child here for an emergency root canal. They quoted me 5k. I paid $700 cash just to be seen that day. I told them i can’t afford that and her insurance kicks in, in 2 weeks so i would have to wait. I left, they called me back once in the elevator and told me if i came back the next day they would do a baby root canal on her for $400 to hold her off until insurance kicked in. I reached out to schedule the appt and they told me i had to resolve the debt before they would schedule anything. I paid cash upon both visits and never had a full root canal as they wouldn’t schedule it without resolving debt for a procedure never had! I’ve asked for management to call. Nothing. I’ve sent emails. No response. I now have received multiple bills upon which I have forwarded to them. No response. I was an out of town patient who was working there for 2 months and no longer in the state to stop in. Today, i received an email that they sent me to collections!! Terrrrribleeeeeee!!!! The worst part of it is my poor teenagers tooth!!!
Great experience, my dentist was awesome and my hygienist was superb, I would recommend this dental practice highly. Even the xray technicians were highly qualified, taking their time to ensure each film was precisely placed to ensure my comfort as well as obtaining the best shot. At age 68 I've had many dentists, but dental one ranks high among them all. Let’s not forget the admin staff who ensured my wait was brief and my check out easy. Thank you all!!
Been patients there for a long time. Long wait times have always been an issue but last several visits - staff have been rude and unhelpful and visit took almost 2 hrs and I never even got my teeth cleaned - was told I had to go out front and schedule a separate appointment for that! Time to look for a new dentist!
Great experience... Excellent customer service and Dr. Lambert Rocks!!! Great care for the customer and extremely personable. Highly recommend you ask for her!
I had a very negative experience with this office and feel their billing practices are extremely predatory. During my appointment, additional services/products were performed without clearly explaining why they were necessary, whether they were optional, or if they would be covered by my insurance. At no point was I informed that I could end up paying out of pocket for these items before they were done. By the end of the appointment, I was handed a surprisingly large bill for services my insurance did not cover — services I was never properly consulted about beforehand. Patients should be given transparency, informed consent, and the opportunity to approve costs before treatment is added. The overall experience felt more focused on upselling and generating extra charges than honest patient care. I would strongly encourage others to be cautious and carefully question every recommended service before agreeing to treatment here. I will not be returning!
Alicia and Dr Chokshi were so welcoming and friendly. They both made me feel very comfortable. Shana went above and beyond to explain my care plan and my estimated cost so I wouldn't have any surprises. I really appreciate their care and would recommend this practice to anyone!
Shana (Front Desk) is a total Rock Star! She did check-ins, answered phones (it was very busy early morning), checkouts and all with unruffled calm and courtesy. Great patient service skills, great prioritizing tasks and such a great attitude. I used to manage a medical office and she is a TREASURE. Farrah, as always, did a thorough and amazing job scaling and polishing, taking extra effort to protect me from cold water—much appreciated. Very good at explaining care also. I did not get the name of my assistant but she was very cheerful and thorough also. Thank you!!
My first time appointment was amazing. I was greeted with hospitality and when I was called to see the doctor she was just amazing. She was caring and gentle. The dental assistant was the best. She was courteous and understanding. I will definitely be returning and would advise you all to give it a chance. Very grateful for the visit. Not only did they assist my issues but touched my heart
I had a very disappointing experience at Dental One Associates. The wait time in the waiting area was extremely long, and the staff is very unprofessional. On top of that, they charged me copays even though I have a premium dental plan that does not require copays. I had to call my insurance myself and go back and forth with the office multiple times just to get my money back for a payment I never should have been charged in the first place. The whole situation felt very money-driven and unnecessarily stressful. Dental One Associates also engaged in dishonest billing practices. I raised a concern and spoke with the manager, about charging me for services I never got. And she who stated that the service was mandatory. However, the service was never performed, yet it was still billed to my insurance. Charging for services that were not provided which is unacceptable and misleading. The manager is very unpleasant to speak too and is very unprofessional I would never go back here again and would not recommend this office to others. They are defensive when you ask questions and want clarity on things as well.
