Dental Serenity of Manhattan

As a patient of a few years at this clinic. I'm very disappointed with how my care has declined. My cleaning Dr. Ditta was the most painful I've ever experienced at this clinic. I had to ask her to stop so she could reduce the water pressure before the cleaning could continue. During this cleaning visit, she told me I was eligible to join a “smile-club”. I learned later that this meant veneers - but the actual term was never said. This was presented to me in a confusing and unnecessary way, and as I was only seeking routine preventive care during my visit. I later had a crown overlay procedure with Dr. Ditta, but the process of receiving the crown was delayed by weeks. Still months later now, the final restoration continues to cause me pain and gum irritation. I plan to bring this issue to another provider. During this overlay procedure, I felt extremely uncomfortable with the way she discovered a crack in another tooth, and whispered with staff instead of addressing me directly. When I asked about this at the end of my appointment, she said she did not know the next steps in care and would follow up with me. There was no follow up from the doctor. When I raised these concerns with the front desk staff, they were slow to respond and seemed tone-deaf in my concerns. I had difficulty obtaining my dental X-rays and only received them after reminding the office of my legal right to access my records. After being a patient for many years, I expected better communication, better care, and greater respect for long-term patients. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that patient concerns and retention are not a priority.

I came here for a scan for Invisalign! The office is beautiful and conveniently located in midtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. Scanning for Invisalign is so easy! Highly recommended!

The office itself is very clean with a beautiful, comfortable setting that immediately puts you at ease. Everything is well organized and the team makes the whole experience smooth and pleasant. The office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Chang truly takes her time with each appointment, never rushed, always caring, and so gentle.
