About DentalWorks Charlotte

DentalWorks Charlotte provides dental care on Pineville-Matthews Road in the Carmel area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Gum disease treatment ranges from a deeper professional cleaning for early inflammation through to more involved periodontal care once bone around the teeth has started to be affected. Bleeding gums are usually the earliest sign, and the early stage is reversible with proper cleaning and better daily plaque control.

Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.

Periodontics is the specialty focused on the gums and the bone supporting the teeth, handling more advanced gum disease, related surgical treatment, and — in many practices — dental implant placement, which sits naturally alongside that training.

Prosthetic dentistry is the branch concerned with replacing missing teeth and restoring damaged ones — dentures, bridges, crowns, and implant-supported restorations all sit within this area, chosen based on how much natural tooth and bone remain.

Comprehensive care generally means a practice can handle most of a patient's dental needs in-house — preventive, restorative, and often minor cosmetic or surgical treatment — reducing how often patients are referred elsewhere for routine work.

A filling repairs a tooth after decay has been cleaned out, most often using tooth-coloured composite resin that is shaped and bonded to blend with the surrounding tooth. It is usually completed in a single appointment and is one of the most routine restorative procedures in dentistry.

Tooth Decay Treatment is also among the treatments offered here, and the practice can explain what it involves and whether it fits your situation at a consultation. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Get in touch through it to ask questions or book a visit.

Formerly reviewed as five stars. Dental work is great. Billing is a train wreck. They continue to bill me for some thing that was covered by my insurance, but is being denied because the practice took too long to bill. I’ve called the office many times with no resolution.

My husband received a bill this January even though he was never a patient AND his name was spelled wrong. It took a couple months but we found out the bill was meant for me and it was addressed to him because the insurance is through him. Why am *I* being billed in January 23 if I haven’t been to this office since April 22? It’s been a couple months of trying to get answers and repeated calls with no updates. Incredibly frustrating and screams scam to me!

This was my first official visit getting work done. Mrs. Phyllis was amazing, she is super funny. Talking with her really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I have anxiety with the dentist, so to feel this way is amazing. I’m actually looking for to my next appointment. Thank you!

This is my second visit to DentalWorks. The staff is awesome and Dr. Norris is very patient and kind. She did not rush through the procedure and took time explaining step by step each option she presented to me to help me make a informative decision. I felt great and recommended to my spouse that he also should visit this dental practice. I look forward to the continued dental care with Dr. Norris and her staff.

I brought my 90 year old mother to have new dentures made. The entire staff is kind, patient, and very concerned about the welfare of their patients. I had to cancel several appointments, and my mother required extra patience and attention. The staff accommodated us and made me feel very happy to have chosen them. Would recommend this office to anyone!

The customer service exhibited by the staff members was exquisite. They were all both very professional and friendly at the same time and knowledgeable about all things dentistry related. I wouldn't have expected anything less but honestly you just never know these days, so I really do appreciate them for being so kind in the above regards. Would definitely recommend DentalWorks w/no reservations for yourself or your family if your in the market and will definitely be visiting again myself for any dental care that I may need in the future!✨

Nice little spot. Seats a MAX of 10 patients while waiting. Every time I have been here its always nice and empty. They have a mini fridge with water for people waiting. Although this one time it was completely empty no water. No big deal.
