About DentalWorks Hope Mills
DentalWorks Hope Mills provides dental care on Hope Mills Road in the Douglas Byrd area of Fayetteville, North Carolina. At the core of a general dental practice is preventive and restorative care: checkups, professional cleanings, fillings, and screening for decay and gum disease before either becomes a bigger problem. It is the kind of appointment most people need on a routine schedule rather than only when something hurts.
Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.
A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.
Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.
Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.
Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost. Unfortunately , just like any other industry or place in america , dentistry has become profit over people. If someone is suffering and cannot afford to pay the difference and cannot qualify for care credit they do not receive care. They do not offer any form payment plans for those who are a little less fortunate than others.
Very professional and really takes care of their patients.
Great service as always💖💖💖
We love DentalWorks! My entire family has been going there for about 7 years now, including my husband and our two daughters (one which is now a preteen and the other a teenager). Everyone is so friendly, from the front desk staff to the hygienists, dental assistants, and dentists! Dr. Adamson is great! He always takes the time to answer all of my questions and you can tell he genuinely cares about you as a patient. And I fully trust him! I highly recommend DentalWorks!
Everyone in this office is very nice. I have always had a good experience in this Dental Office.
I was greeted with such professional Care. I love going to Dennis there Dr. Adamson is very professional and very caring of his patience. I felt comfortable going there and he does such great work. I never have a problem when I go there he explains everything to me to make sure I understand what was going on and now he’s gonna make it work so far excellent work thanks Dr. Adamson
This location has the best staff. Everyone was polite and friendly. My teeth cleaning was great. I was given a blanket because I was cold. That was just the icing on the cake lol. They take good care of their patients by communicating and asking if they're ok during the process. Very sweet team of people!
Customer service and billing at this location have been disappointing. Aside from the dentist appearing disengaged the front office appears disorganized. On 12/24, I received a paper invoice for my child “due upon receipt” . I paid online, later noticing charges that exceeded the invoice amount. By that time I had paid nearly $100. I started calling the company on 12/29 for an accurate invoice total. After two weeks I spoke with the front office and I was told that the bill had been sent prematurely and that my insurance had covered the full balance. I was told a refund had been processed and to give it two weeks. Today 1/29, I called for an update and I was told the ticket had “just got approved” and to wait an additional two weeks. I hope billing issues are addressed and that this concern reaches the right place. I’ve added an extra star for the hygienist who took great care of my child during the visit
Had my first appointment and my experience was so great I'm switching my daughter to them. Jada at the front desk was very helpful and explained all the charges for my dental plan, Lori the dental assistant was very personable, and marsha the dental hygienist was fantastic! She took the time to explain everything to me in great detail, she answered all of my questions. The dentist, well was a Doctor, not too friendly. But professional and introduced himself before he went all up in my mouth.lol.which I appreciated!
I recently had my first visit to Dental Works in Hope Mills, NC, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff that made me feel at ease. The clinic's atmosphere was inviting and calming, which is especially appreciated when visiting the dentist. All the staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns. They patiently answered all my questions and provided me with a wealth of information about my dental health, treatment options, and preventive care. I genuinely felt like my oral health was a priority to them, which is something I value greatly in a dental provider. The examination was thorough but gentle, and I appreciated how the staff ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire process. They explained each step, which helped alleviate any anxiety I might have had. Overall, my first visit to Dental Works Hope Mills exceeded my expectations. I left feeling informed and confident about my dental health moving forward. I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable dentist!
