Patients from Harrisburg, Concord, Huntersville, and surrounding University City neighborhoods will find this location straightforward to reach.

The practice offers online appointment booking through the Dentistry of the Carolinas website, which can provide faster access to appointments than calling the office directly. Patients who are unable to book online are encouraged to call and verify availability. Deep cleaning appointments in particular may have longer lead times and patients should confirm scheduling when services are recommended.

New patients at this location receive a comprehensive first appointment including X-rays and a full clinical examination. The practice is part of a multi-location network, so insurance coordination and patient records are managed across the system.

Michael is my dental hygienist. I could not ask for more of a caring, knowledgeable and professional person to take care of my dental hygiene. I advised Dr. Cabana that if he was ever not available for any reason I would cancel my appointment and reschedule once he is available. That’s how good he is at his job. Highly recommend.

WOW, just WOW.. I had an excellent experience as a new patient at Dentistry of the Carolinas – University location . Karin Cabana and her entire staff were welcoming, professional, and incredibly thorough from start to finish. They took the time to explain everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and showed genuine care throughout my visit. The office was well‑organized, clean, and efficient, which made the appointment smooth and stress‑free. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and the friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend Karin Cabana and her team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care.

I called this office today 12/1/25 to make an appointment for a teeth cleaning. The receptionist by the name of Raquel told me that no appointments would be available until next year. She stated they were booking into april. I immediately went to their website and saw that you could book online.I was available to get an appointment within two days. I called the office back to speak to Raquel and asked her why did she give me erroneous information when the online website said I could get an appointment within two days of calling. She went on to say that the teeth cleaning would not be available until next year. Well, she never mentioned that in the beginning of our conversation. She didn't like that I was questioning her and became very rude and dismissive, and hung the phone up in my face! This person is in desperate need of customer service training. Doctors, you need to know who is representing your company. This behavior turns away your potential customers. Thank you in advance for letting me know how you treat your customers. Thank you that no appointment was ever made. This dentistry was recommended by my dental insurance company and they will definitely be hearing from me. I don't know what kind of dentist this is because I never had the opportunity to meet the person but what I do know for sure is that one member of the staff (Raquel) sucks.

Always a pleasure to be greeted with kindness and professionalism. From the time you enter a business to your existing. The work is always done correctly and the staff is always available if you have questions. One of the best Dentist in Charlotte. I have used this office for several years now. I never experienced any bad visits. Until my next appointment blessings always.

Don't believe all these 5 stars! They offer a "giveaway" for whoever leaves a 5 star review. My experience with them wasn't great. They couldn't even schedule the deep cleaning they recommended. I had to wait for a cancellation, which means I would have a 24 hour notice that I needed to be there. Considering I work, it's hard to be able to just up and go.
