The procedure started on time. The staff were curious and friendly. The doctor was proficient and efficient, but took the time to assure that everything was perfect.

Michael the hygienist is just wonderful

If you want a highly trained and extremely professional dentist, look no further. They’re very fast and very precise. I have been to plenty of dentists but not nearly as good as this one. They’re very kind and understanding and will get you out with no pain and no long waits. I would highly recommend going to the university location.

I am not a fan of the Dentist but Dentistry of the Carolinas-University was great. The staff are very friendly, professional, and helpful. They explained everything so I understood and aware of what was going to happen and what was happening. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

I'm so disappointed with my visit. It was the wrong decision to come here. Dr. Cabana wanted to fill a tooth that I was trying to explain was already in pain, and she ignored what I was saying with rude, dismissive behavior. Very unprofessional. Sharing this for anyone weighing their options. The atmosphere online comes across as friendly, but my visit felt different . the service wasn't professional, respectful or attentive as I'd hoped. Just something to keep in mind before stopping by.

I had an excellent experience with my dental hygienist, Michael! He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain everything throughout my appointment. His gentle approach made the cleaning comfortable, but he was also very thorough and got the job done right. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in his work. If you’re looking for someone who is skilled, kind, and makes going to the dentist a much better experience, I highly recommend asking for Michael. Thank you for the outstanding care!

The attention to detail that hygienist Michael gave was amazing. I even overheard another person compliment him. The suggestions on ways I could improve brushing due to my gum issues were appreciated. He knew what he was doing and kept me at ease. There was no doubt my teeth were very clean when I left.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this office. After dealing with a tooth issue for quite some time and feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously by previous dentist, I finally decided to come here—and it was the best decision I could have made. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. The dental assistant who took my X-rays was absolutely outstanding—professional, compassionate, and incredibly attentive. I was very nervous, but she immediately put me at ease. She listened, understood my pain, and made me feel truly seen and heard. Then I met Dr. karin Cabana, and wow. She is exceptional. From the moment she walked in, she carried herself with such professionalism and warmth. She took the time to really look into my situation, asked the right questions, and clearly explained what was going on. and she approached everything with honesty, confidence, and care. What stood out the most was how reassuring she was. She didn’t just diagnose the problem—she gave me hope. She made it clear that I’m going to get through this and that my tooth will be okay. That level of care and communication means everything when you’ve been dealing with pain and uncertainty. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would give 100. I have officially found my dentist, and I’m so grateful. This team is truly top-tier, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professionalism, compassion, and real results. My experience was good. Katie was awesome. I would recommend a lot of people to her. She went Above and beyond the Call of Duty to make sure I was comfortable cause I told her all the problems that I had in the past and she made me feel at home and she was very honest and respectful. We need more people like her. Katie needs a raise and a promotion. I definitely will be back and I will send a lot of people to her. You guys are awesome.

Michael is my dental hygienist. I could not ask for more of a caring, knowledgeable and professional person to take care of my dental hygiene. I advised Dr. Cabana that if he was ever not available for any reason I would cancel my appointment and reschedule once he is available. That’s how good he is at his job. Highly recommend.
