I have been a patient of Dr. Kilkelly at Derby Dental for the last several years. Recently I had a a painful tooth ache and she saw me the same day. Everyone in her practice is friendly, knowledgeable and makes you feel heard. No pressure to upsell you on additional procedures. I highly recommend them!

I rarely leave reviews but Dr. Kilkelly is truly such a phenomenal doctor who deserves the recognition. She was so personable and compassionate the entire time. She sat with me and explained every single thing with so much patience and knowledge. Being in the medical field myself, I have so much respect and admiration for her and her team. 10/10 experience!
I believe I get excellent cleaning of my teeth on a routine basis. The cost of everything has gone up, so every visit can cost $200 or $500, if I get X-rays. On our budget, it is hard to pay for x-rays every year. Of course X-rays are helpful to monitor gum and teeth integrity, but they should be done in those cases where the patient has clinical symptoms like redness, bleeding, pain on biting, tenderness, hypersensitivity, etc. I changed my dentist several years ago when Carla Costin was the owner because we were sent to a dentist that was on the insurance plan. On my first visit , I was told that I had a "cracked" tooth that needed to be fixed. I went to Dr. Coston for a second opinion ;and, sure enough she didn't see any cracks. Honesty sealed the deal for me.

If you are looking for dental care with the most updated equipment, professional staff and a dentist that is concerned about your comfort, Derby Dental is the office for you. Derby Dental does a great job taking care of me and my teeth. Dr Kilkelly and her staff communicate clearly and encourage me to take care of my teeth. They've helped me to reverse some significant issues and maintain my oral hygiene. They do a great job managing my anxiety around cleanings and keeping me comfortable. I'm a big fan of the practice.

Came in with a filling that another dentist had done that ended up falling out. Derby Dental got me scheduled for the next morning at 7 AM. In and out in under an hour. X-rays, prep, and new filling all done. Super easy experience. No insurance, but the price was still very reasonable. No sticker shock. Dr. Kilkelly and Dana were great. Appreciate the swag bag too! This filling definitely staying put 😄
It is a hard decision to make the switch when you had been going to the same dentist for so long. But due to traveling cost from 1 side of town to another was a struggle to plan out in Austin Traffic. Derby Dental staff were accommodating and took time to explain things I didnt understand at my first couple of visits. I am happy to make the change to benefit myself from driving an 1hr down to 20 mins. I will always be grateful and miss everyone at my first dentistry, but I am happy that Derby Dental welcomed me with a friendly welcome! Thank you very much for having me!
Great experience! The dental hygienist was thorough and detailed, explaining each step as she moved through the exam. Dr. Kilkelly is amazing. I had visited another dentist and they wanted to fill (4) cavities. Dr. Kilkelly does not rush to procedures. Instead, she has a long term approach to a patient's care, focusing on what's best for them & their teeth...very appreciated. They now have a life long client!
