She was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really put me at ease. The quality of her work and attention to detail were top-notch, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. In the past, I would postpone cleanings & reschedule appointments simply to delay the inevitable. Now, that apprehension has dissolved due to an AMAZING dental hygienist, KIMBERLY. She recommended Nitrous Oxide Gas for my anxiety and now I attend my visits consistently, without hesitation. My oral health reflects the difference. My sincere gratitude goes to Kimberly and Dr. Scott Lee. Their professionalism, patience, and thoughtful care have not only improved my dental hygiene but have restored my confidence in seeking the dental treatment I once dreaded. I don’t normally write novels for reviews, but in a day-and-age where it can feel like patient-doctor care is waning, the good ones deserve to be highlighted. Definitely come to Desert Family Dental if you want a good experience with your dental care! Everyone made my appointment both easy and painless; both schedulers I worked with (I think Kobe and Desiree) were patient and knowledgeable. I knew exactly what to expect of my appointment and when I left I was given thorough explanation and estimates of work I might be interested in. Kimberley - I’d make a whole review just for this amazing dental hygienist! I hadn’t been to the dentist in an embarrassing amount of time and I was never once shamed for it. She did a great job on my teeth and was super informative the whole time. I made sure my next checkup was scheduled with her! Dr. Lee consulted with me directly on my care and answered all my questions, including my prying into why he does what he does - in short, he’s trying to be the good he wants to see in the world. The core values of his business really attest to that, which is pretty cool.

Hygienist I had was great! Clean office. When I scheduled the appointment, they told me one time. They didn’t mention that the first 45 minutes would be for imaging and X-rays and that the actual cleaning was an hour after the time I scheduled. They also didn’t tell me that my insurance was out of their network until I was checking out. So the charge at the end was a surprise.

I went to this practice for years. Things were great at first. Dr Kerle was amazing. Then Dr Kerle disappeared and I saw Dr Lee. Every single time, he would try to convince me ALL my crowns needed replaced and I needed tooth whitening. He would act like the situation was dire. I felt like I was buying a used car. I switched to Dr Gibbons who I really liked but they were triple booking her. I needed an old filling replaced. The numbness started wearing off by the time she was able to start on me. And Ann the hygienist is the rudest woman alive. No amount of flossing, brushing was right. She yelled at me and accused me of lying when I told her I was taking care of my teeth. She was rough, nicked my gum and made me bleed sternly saying “THIS IS HOW YOU FLOSS!” On top of all that she told me I needed to switch my kids school to a better school because Mesa Schools are terrible. Excuse me? I never asked for school advice. She asked me where my kids went and immediately told me I needed to switch to where her kids went. I finally changed to a different practice. Suddenly, my crowns are in great condition and my brushing and flossing is excellent! Oh and no one is trying to tell me where to send my kids. This practice used to be great. It’s really sad that greed took over.
