As a veterinarian (who specializes in dentistry) and a scared patient, I love Dr Nagao and his staff. He is a true artist when it comes to veneers and cosmetic dentistry. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to anyone with "dental phobia". They provide nitrous oxide, conscious sedation and even the option for general anesthesia (with a boarded anesthetist) if necessary. Designer Dental is absolutely the best place in Tucson! If you elect to use full anesthesia do not use Ravi Khapekar from Lifeguard he actually said "I only use Propofol so I can fill out less paperwork". This is for the DEA not the comfort of the patient. Veterinarians use drugs for the comfort of the patient! Although Josh and his staff are fabulous this is true warning!
I had a consultation with Doctor Nagao at Designer Dental to have an All on 4 redone due to complications from a previous dental office. Doctor Nagao took the time to explain what I needed done, what to expect, and answer my questions. I left feeling excited and grateful that I would have the teeth and smile I want so badly . Im looking forward to surgery. I'm so glad I was refered to Designer Dental.
I felt very comfortable and cared for at Designer Dental. The office is clean, the staff is amazing, the rooms are peaceful with beautiful scenery windows. Josh Nagao, DDS, was easy to speak to, he took the time to explain things to me and helped ease my fears. I deal with medical anxiety and avoid going to the dentist untill I have pain. I strongly recommend Designer Dental for all your dental needs.

I love this office and everyone in it. I especially love Esty who is my hygienist. Today I had a tight schedule. She started cleaning my teeth a few minutes before my appointment time and then stayed very focus and always polite cleaning my teeth. I was done 1/2 hour early and was the first one at the movie. I figured I'd be late and need to sneak in the back. Just another example of a Designer Dental employee putting the customer first. Thank you.
I am a 64 year okd womanDesigner Dental is superior in every way in comparison to any other dental office I have visited. The front office staff is always polite and professional. You are given their full attention when you arrive until you step out the door. I have always been afraid of dentists because I have had multiple bad and painful experiences. At Designer Dental Dr Josh Nagao and his skilled dental technicians have taken all the fear away. I have never experienced any discomfort from any procedure. Dr. Nagao actually talks with you about what you want and need. I would never consider going to a different dental practice.
OMG! Wonderful staff! Nice, gentle - professional! They all worked so well together... the doctors, the assistant - everyone! The ladies that greeted me were also very nice! The Dr was able to replace a screw that attached to an implant that - simple fell out! Highly recommend - wonderful staff!
My experience was great. The staff are amazing! They are friendly and professional making each patient feel comfortable and relaxed during their procedure. Also, the Hygienist and Dentist addressed any/all concerns in detail with respect and care. I highly recommend this office to everyone. They are the very BEST!!
I would highly recommend Designer Dental! Dr. Nagao and his staff are very nice, and actually care about their patients. The minute you walk through the door you feel welcome. They have explained every procedure to me to make sure I'm comfortable with it before proceeding. He's an excellent dentist, and his hygienists and staff are highly exceptional. I would highly recommend this practice!
