Destination Smiles-Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics

We had an awesome experience with Dr. Jacky recently. They were able to fill 1 of my 3yr old daughter's cavities which I thought for sure we would need to put her under anesthesia to get done (I was so stressed about that piece because of the cost that insurance wouldnt cover) and this was based on how my daughter reacted to other work/cleaning. All the providers are amazing and I think going consistently with my daughter who has been very hesitant to let them work on her and each time is always a special visit which had made her more comfortable. The team is always friendly and patient with my daughter. They let her pick her favorite show or movie and explain to her each step they are doing in a kid friendly/age appropriate way. I think each time we have gone for a cleaning or other services there has been either Rebecca the balloon lady (who is super awesome) or Sparkles (the cutest therapy dog). She definitely remembers those visits as positive ones. As a parent I do appreciate thay they also take the time to explain the work they have done and the reason why it was needed and what we could potentially expect later. I'm so happy a friend referred us to destination smiles because I had such a horrible experience as a kid with my dentist (who wouldnt even allow parents in the room with their child), I was so worried my daughter would have same horrible experience but it is quite the opposite.

I was referred to Dr. Ligh for my daughter's tongue tie and he's been amazing in not only handling the initial surgery but the post surgery recovery as well. So well, in fact, that I decided to bring my son over for his regular check up and he saw Dr Van who was equally great. Friendly and good with my son and informative for me. The staff overall is friendly and welcoming. I'm so glad we got referred here. It's exactly the type of atmosphere I'd want for my kids as they get acclimated to dental care. Highly recommend

We first came to Destination Smiles because my son broke his adult front tooth into pieces, and they have been wonderful from the very start. Every experience with my son has been wonderful. Recently, the dental assistant took the time to thoroughly discuss our concerns and even showed my 9-year-old how to floss properly. From Dr. Ligh to the entire team, the care has been exceptional.

Great service all around! The dentists (we saw 2), hygienist, receptionist and everyone we encountered were helpful and friendly. The balloon artist was cool too! My kids were patients at another dental office for years but we got tired of the lack of customer service (getting an AI robot when calling) and a nightmare with inconsistent billing practices. Destination Smiles really felt like a breath of fresh air for the whole family! Kiddos were happy and parents were too! Two of my kids have also seen Dr. Kwong, the orthodontist at Destination Smiles before and he is also amazing! My kids could sit and talk sports with him for hours if I let them! Two thumbs up for the dental side and two thumbs up for orthodontics!

My twins have been the patient of Dr. Ligh for so many years now. They are almost 21 yrs old & still love to go to this office. Over the holidays My daughter had a couple of filling needed to be done & Dr. Ligh & his staff were very helpful in scheduling her right after the new year. Actually Dr. Ligh himself called me & scheduled her as he knew she was off to college the following day. My husband & I are very pleased with extended care our kids are receiving from this office & would like to thank him for his over & beyond care.
