EXTRACTION= #1 IMPLANTS I visited Devine Dental and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from the moment I walked in. First, the front receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. I was seen by a female dentist who initially discussed the possibility of doing a retreatment on my tooth. However, as soon as I questioned the possibility oh my tooth being broken, the conversation quickly shifted toward removing the tooth. I requested a second opinion from the owner. While waiting, my spouse overheard the receptionist speaking out loud about me to a dental assistant, saying, “Oh well, the doctor doesn’t do retreats, HE LIKES TO PULL. he's going to pull!” followed by, “Don’t worry, I’ll talk to her.” Hearing that staff discussed me this way was incredibly unprofessional and made an already stressful situation even worse. Throughout the visit, I felt pressured to proceed with an extraction. The following day, I spoke directly with the owner and explained that I did NOT want to lose my tooth. I wanted to explore every reasonable option to save it and requested to see a specialist/endodontist. Instead of being referred to a specialist, I was again encouraged to proceed with an extraction, which I was told would cost around $3,000. The owner got defensive when I told him the female dentist had said the reason the last root canal they did failed was because they didn't seal it correctly, in which he replied "I don't know who told you that, I see it right here and it sealed" and then, “ALL ROOT CANALS FAIL,” and that seeing a specialist would be more expensive. What concerns me most is that I never felt like saving my tooth was genuinely being explored as an option. I questioned whether all appropriate steps had been taken to determine if my tooth could actually be saved. I am SO grateful that I trusted my instincts and went to an endodontist for another opinion. My specialist determined that my tooth was healthy enough for retreatment and that I did NOT need an extraction. I was able to save my tooth for less than then the cost of the extraction only. Based on my personal experience, I strongly encourage anyone being told they need an extraction—especially when the tooth may potentially be saved—to seek an independent opinion from an endodontist before making an irreversible decision. God bless my endodontist and shame on Devine Dental! I'm convinced they push for extractions so they can stay number 1 for dental implants.

To be quite frank I never felt so comfortable at a dentist! Staff is quite polite & first time I experience a team who isn't pushy. Definitely making it my go to dentist 😬

My experience at Divine Dental was fantastic. Initially went in seeking a consultation on ways to improve my smile. The doctor and staff here were very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. They were patient and answered any/all questions or concerns I had about recommended procedures. They presented me with many flexible options that fit my budget and timeline. If you are thinking about getting some dental work done, or do not know where to start, I highly recommend Divine Dental.
