As a new patient, they were able to get me in pretty quickly and get some things addressed. The turnaround time on my cleaning, root canal and crown was pretty amazing. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Billing was clean, clear and straightforward. I just moved here and these guys are my new dental office. Y'all should check them out as well!
I was scheduled for a routine dental cleaning appointment and to establish care with a new dentist. The office was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was welcoming. Dr. Keller was very thorough and professional. She took time to review my x-rays and answer all of my questions. I felt comfortable and very happy with my visit. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over ten years due to death in my family and depression. I was dealing with so much stress and anxiety because of a dull constant ache I had for the past few years. Everyone made me feel so welcome and walked me through every step of the process. I needed a deep cleaning and even during the procedure, the person doing the cleaning was so thoughtful and told me everything she was doing before she proceeded, which relieved so much anxiety. I feel absolutely amazing now and I’m so thankful that the team at Donelson Smiles Dentistry is so welcoming and nonjudgmental. I definitely recommend if you suffer from dental anxiety like I do!
Dentists, dental assts, and hygienists not the issue. It's the administrative staff and operations manager. They wanted payment in advance for crown placement. Little weird since I had insurance and had always paid whatever else was owed. But I foolishly did it-- with the understanding that they would bill to my insurance and refund me later. Guess what? Yeah, either they never submitted or they submitted it incorrectly. In any event-- I'm out at least $1000 that my insurance should have paid. Perhaps I'm still within the window to file it myself. But that's beside the point. These people will NOT return phone calls or respond to emails. For months they have done this. Just incredibly bad customer service. It's like the administrative/ operations departments are staffed by toddlers. Check out the reviews on Yelp. That seems a more accurate picture of this business.

Update: They are still going strong with great service, Dr Madison is the best. I've been going to this location for years! I love the staff and all there work. Mariam was the best when taking xrays this past visit, very through! and Dr M West was great!
