About Dr. Aaron E. Isler, DDS

Dr. Aaron E. Isler, DDS is a dental practice on Lake Underhill Road in Orlando, Florida. Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the space, and allows the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. Its reputation for being painful is largely outdated — carried out under local anaesthetic, it typically relieves pain rather than causing it.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent. You can reach Dr. Aaron E. How many appointments does root canal treatment take?
It can sometimes be completed in one visit, though more complex teeth with several canals may need two. Which applies depends on the tooth involved and whether there is active infection to settle first.
Is a root canal as painful as people say?
The reputation is largely outdated. The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and is usually no more uncomfortable than having a filling. The severe pain people associate with root canals is generally the infection beforehand, which the treatment relieves.
Is it normal for teeth to be sensitive to cold?
Mild, brief sensitivity is common and often relates to exposed root surfaces or worn enamel. Sensitivity that lingers after the cold is removed is more significant and worth having examined, as it can indicate the nerve is involved.

My daughter Nova had a root canal with Dr Isler today. She was so nervous but he made her feel calm, important, and reassured her. I was so worried she would be in distress, but she wasn’t because of him. The procedure took around 7 minutes and she left hearing that she was his best patient this year. Thank you Dr Isler for doing such a wonderful job on her tooth and thank you for treating her so well. You were so thorough and informative. We never met a kinder Dr.

I went to see Dr. Isler about 7–8 months ago for a root canal, and I was honestly amazed at how quick and painless the procedure was. Root canals have a reputation for being painful, but that wasn’t my experience at all. Even several months later, everything still feels perfect. I’m really grateful for the care and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr. Isler, thank you again!
