I wouldn't recommend. On my first visit a few years ago, one of the practice's dentists identified a cavity, which I had filled (my first cavity). On my second visit six months later, they found another cavity and wanted to schedule another filling. This seemed strange to me - so I got a second opinion. I didn't have a cavity and have continued to be cavity free in the years since then. Recently I found my brother-in-law visit the office. With a similar cavity free history, Dr. Cave & Associates discovered his first cavity and filled it. I would certainly treat diagnosis from this office with a high degree of caution. I can't be certain the "cavities" they found and filled in our first visits were false diagnoses, but I know they wanted to drill into a healthy tooth following my second visit (and suspect that's what they did following my first visit and that of my brother in law).
Needed four fillings after 18 months abroad without dental care. Dr. Cave finished filling them in less than 30 minutes and explained each step thoroughly. It was as pleasant as getting four fillings at once can be. I highly recommend Dr. Cave and his team.
I had a dental emergency and Dr. Cave was great. He took me in on short notice and helped to resolve my issue with minimal pain and an easy recovery.
I've gone to Dr. Cave for years. He's the most conscientious physician I've ever been to. He really takes the time to ask all the right questions, and to do a thorough assessment before recommending treatment. I've never seen him upsell any of the latest products or procedures. He's kept my dental health and my overall health his only focus, not his own bottom line. I can't recommend him highly enough. Oh, and be on time, he will be, and you will be out on time too. Imagine that!
I've been going here for five years and have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Cave and staff.
Their office came recommended from a coworker so I scheduled a teeth cleaning and x-rays. Office called me the day before my appointment to confirm then 30 minutes before closing with my appointment the next morning told me they would have to reschedule. They didn't realized I was a new patient which I had mentioned when originally scheduling and when confirming appointment but they needed to reschedule for more time. I arrived at my rescheduled appointment early to complete all paperwork and provide dental insurance...was never mentioned I was out of network until scheduling additional appointments. I called insurance regarding coverage and then called office back and canceled future appointments. I was given an apology over the phone and I indicated that apology is a little late when I now know there will be an expensive bill out of pocket for a 6 month cleaning and yearly x-rays. What is most frustrating is that I was asked upfront if I want a mouth cancer screening for $15 which I agreed to have done and pay today but was not told I was out of network. I was even asked about when last fillings were done and if I had a high deductible plan and yet staff clearly knew I was out of network. Clients beware because I was informed I had 15 fillings on teeth that needed to be worked on yet I get cleanings done every 6 months. They were basing a lot off x-rays of older fillings and after discussing details was told well we'll have to see if the cavity is just minimal or early stages below the old filling. So replacing fillings because they are old seems silly with the expense and minimal confidence. I even asked for a priority of work if it needed to be done. It was indicated on my military paperwork that work would not need to be done within the next 12 months. Steer clear of this place!
Dr. Kahm is the best dentist I've ever been to. He is friendly, thorough, and gentle. He does the cleaning himself, which I really appreciate. I actually look forward to going to the dentist, which I've never been able to say before. I highly recommend him.
