About Dr. Dental

DR. DENTAL is a general dental practice located at 800 Juan Tabo Blvd NE, Suite Q, in the Northeast Heights area of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The office is situated in the 87123 zip code, which covers portions of the Far Northeast Heights and the area east of Tramway Blvd NE near the Kirtland and Manzano Mesa neighborhoods.

General dentistry services provided at this location cover both routine preventive care and common restorative treatments. Preventive care appointments typically include professional cleanings, comprehensive oral exams, and dental X-rays to monitor for decay, gum disease, and changes in bone structure over time. These visits form the foundation of long-term dental health management.

Restorative dental services address issues identified during exams or reported by patients, including cavities requiring fillings, damaged or weakened teeth that may benefit from crown placement, and teeth that need to be extracted when they cannot be restored. Patients with dental discomfort should contact the office to discuss scheduling and available treatment options before the condition progresses.

Juan Tabo Blvd NE is one of the primary corridors through Albuquerque’s Northeast Heights, extending from the I-40 corridor northward toward the Sandia Mountains foothills. The 87123 zip code area covers the southern portion of the Far Northeast Heights, and the practice is accessible to patients throughout the eastern Heights and Tijeras Canyon communities who prefer a neighborhood dentist.

New patients can expect an initial examination that covers dental and medical history, a thorough assessment of current oral health, and a discussion of any recommended treatment before it begins. Patients are encouraged to ask for a written treatment plan with expected costs prior to consenting to any procedures—this is standard practice at any dental office and helps ensure informed decision-making.

Contact DR. DENTAL directly for appointment scheduling, office hours, and information on accepted insurance plans. The practice’s phone number and address are available on this Smyleee listing for patients in the Northeast Heights and Far Northeast Heights of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Front desk - eh. Rest was great. Professional staff and the equipment was on par with the expensive dental places(been there done that). I have been to at least 10 different dentists over the years and this is by far the best. Thanks

Son needed appointment for dental pain. The office got us in very quickly. Staff is friendly and the facility is clean. The dentist was able to diagnose and repair damage in the same day. Definitely booking with them in the future.

I had a very disappointing experience with Mary at the front desk. She was extremely rude and unprofessional during our interaction. What was most concerning was that she refused to provide an ASL interpreter for my deaf sister’s dental appointment. Effective communication is essential in healthcare, and under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), healthcare providers are generally required to provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services, such as a qualified ASL interpreter, when needed for effective communication with a deaf patient. Being dismissed and denied this accommodation was frustrating and unacceptable. I hope the office takes this seriously, provides additional staff training on ADA requirements and respectful customer service, and ensures that deaf patients receive the accommodations they are entitled to in the future.

This place was horrible. The nurses and doctors were super nice but very rough, they had to reschedule me and my husband multiple times because of their water being shut off and we live over an hour away. The front desk ladies were very rude and did not listen to anything i said. I can go on but its not even worth the time. Again nurses and doctors were nice but goshhhh!!!

Overall the service is fantastic the place the clean. Today wasn't so pleasant. The receptionists in the front entrance totally unprofessional especially the pregnant one. Speaking about people in Spanish is a no no for sure. Shame on both of you

Don't go here, I went for a root canal re treatment and they were not transparent about the insurance and the out of pocket cost even after I asked MULTIPLE times then once the service was fully completed (after 7-10 appointments so annoying!) they sprung a new cost on me. Completely unprofessional and they are taking advantage of clients.

They do NOT run up the bill, and subject you to extra pain and suffering just because the insurance company will pay for it like many other dentists.
