Great office for kids. Dr. Im is so patient and great with kids, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The office is clean, fun, and makes every visit easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist!

We had been bringing our daughter to this office for regular cleanings over the past 1–2 years and had always been pleased with our experiences, which makes this situation even more disappointing. My 4-year-old needed fillings, and the dentist felt she was ready to have the procedure done with local anesthetic and laughing gas. Unfortunately, once the numbing injection was given, she became extremely frightened. She bit her lip because she wasn't used to the numb sensation, and it began bleeding. She was crying and screaming because she was scared and overwhelmed. Once it became clear she was too distressed to continue, the doctor left the room, and the dental assistant also stepped out, leaving me alone to comfort my terrified daughter. I understand they may have needed to give us space, but in that moment I felt there was very little guidance, reassurance, or support while I tried to help my child through what had become a traumatic experience. Despite my efforts to calm her, we were eventually asked to leave because her crying was upsetting other children in the office. The procedure was never completed, yet we were still charged approximately $500. In the days that followed, we received multiple calls and payment reminders requesting payment, but no one reached out to ask how my daughter was doing or to acknowledge how traumatic the experience had been. I understand that treating young children can be challenging and that not every procedure goes as planned. However, compassion and empathy matter just as much as clinical care. We left feeling rushed, unsupported, and like the payment was a higher priority than our child's well-being. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

This was our second visit since the regular check-up six months ago. All of the staff are incredibly kind, and they always make the visit fun and comfortable for my child. My son came in for his routine check-up and had X-rays done for the first time. I’m so proud of how well he handled everything at just 3 years old! Our assistant Candy was so kind, patient, and reassuring, which made the whole experience even better. We truly appreciate the care and are never disappointed with our visits.

The staff here are an amazing group of professionals. They are extremely fondly as well. My kids are in high school and college and have been going to Dr. Ellen Im since they were babies. They also both got their braces here as well. We love them all. Highly recommend for your kids and family.

Dr. Im and her team are great. They are very kind, gentle and trustworthy. My kids love going to them. We had to switch providers briefly due to a change in insurance and even my kids noticed the difference and made it clear they wanted to go back to Dr. Im.
