General dentistry on Park Avenue, Cranston

This general dentistry practice on Park Avenue in Cranston, Rhode Island provides everyday dental care for adults, just southwest of Providence. The office has long operated as a neighborhood dental practice serving the surrounding Cranston communities.
General dentistry forms the foundation of the practice. Comprehensive examinations, professional cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, and monitoring for tooth decay and gum disease keep teeth and gums healthy. Consistent preventive visits are the most dependable way to catch small problems early, before they need more extensive treatment.
The office also handles treatment when a problem arises, including extractions and the restorative work that patients need over time. The practice has historically been able to see patients with urgent pain quickly, often within a day, and uses email and text reminders to help patients keep their appointments.
For any treatment beyond a routine cleaning — particularly more involved restorative work such as a dental implant — patients are encouraged to ask the office for a clear, written treatment plan setting out the procedure, the provider who will perform it, the expected outcome, and the full cost, and to confirm what follow-up care is included if a problem develops afterward.
It is also reasonable to ask which dentist will be carrying out a given procedure, and to seek a second opinion before committing to extensive treatment.
A new-patient visit generally begins with an examination and a cleaning.
The Park Avenue location is convenient for the surrounding Cranston neighborhoods. When Dr Bender was there it was fine. Since he’s left the women that run the front desk are terrible. They lack customer service skills and give an attitude that they could care less if you are a patient or not.
Ive been to several dentists in the area and this office by far is the best. My first visit I was in terrible pain and my previous dentist couldn't see me for over a week, Dr. Bender's office took me in the next day, extracted my tooth and set me up with an appointment for a cleaning. The office is fast and efficient, Ive never had to wait for more than a minute or 2 in the waiting room and everyone ive worked with at the office has been great. They always have convenient appointments available or will work to find a good time. They also send a convenient email and text message reminders a week before and the day before your appointment. I have already referred several friends and family members to this office and when my referrals go I get a thank you card in the mail, last time there was a scratch ticket included. Thank you for your great work!
Started seeing this practice in 2010. They are caring and very thorough. Dr Bender is amazing and does fantastic work. The staff is friendly and they all work hard to keep patients comfortable and pain free.
I have went to many dentist and thank god I did or is likley not have teeth at this point. A friend with a perfect smile referred me to Dr. Bender and let me tell you he is amazing!!!!! First off the whole staff here is amazing but more importantly Dr. Bender gave me my smile and confidence back. ❤️⭐️
Dr. Bender’s office has been my family dentist for years, until this irresponsible and unprofessional so called dr. Michelle Garnache came along wrecking my mouth putting an implant. The implant didn’t work, or so she said, trying to blame it on me, and finding excuses for her malpractice. Its been 3 months since the procedure, and im still numbed. I called the office requesting to return my money, nd they refused. Now i lost sensitivity on the side of my mouth, due to nerve damage, which she denies. Please don’t make the same mistake i made, and don’t let this butcher touch ur mouth.
