My child is a very anxious child and has always been extremely afraid of dental clinics and dental chairs. Just the thought or image of visiting the dentist would make him anxious, even before he had ever received any dental treatment. Everything changed after we met Dr. Mandeep. From the moment we arrived, he made every part of the experience feel fun and safe. While my son was lying in the dental chair, there was a TV screen on the ceiling, and he was able to choose his favorite movie to watch. Dr. Mandeep even let him sit with his dad to help him feel secure. What could have been a frightening experience turned into something that felt like a trip to an amusement park. When Dr. Mandeep explained that my son needed to have a tooth removed, I expected tears, fear, and endless questions. Instead, my son was actually excited to come back to the clinic because the doctor had made him feel so comfortable and cared for. It was the very first time my child had a tooth extracted, and the entire procedure went so smoothly that I almost cried. Watching him overcome one of his biggest fears was an incredible moment for our family. We are so grateful to Dr. Mandeep for his kindness, patience, and exceptional care. He didn't just treat my son's tooth—he completely changed the way my child feels about visiting the dentist. We trust Dr. Mandeep so much that if we ever needed to upgrade our insurance to continue seeing him, we would. If we had to travel to another country for our child to be treated by him, we would do that too. Nothing is more important than knowing our child feels safe, has fun, and feels genuinely cared for during every visit. As parents, that peace of mind is priceless.

Mixed experience with the clinic so far to be honest. There is definitely lots of delays in response time especially at the Dubai Hills clinic. I went to get a nightguard for my lower teeth and they deliveted an upper nightguard not even in the correct thickness. When i was finally able to pick up my lower nightguard the doctor was not even there to check the fit and adjust, which is standard practice in all other clinics i've been to. I also got an endodontic treatment (which was a perfect treatment) and was kind of made to feel guilty by the doctor for "asking too many questions" Not sure if I would stick with this clinic on the long term

She took the time to explain everything clearly and was very gentle and attentive during the treatment. The clinic was clean, welcoming, and well organized. I had such an amazing experience at Dr. Joy Dental Clinic! This was actually my second time there, and once again they exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I felt so comfortable and welcomed. The staff are incredibly polite, kind, and genuinely caring ,you can really feel that they want you to have the best experience possible. They take the time to explain everything clearly and give very helpful instructions, which I really appreciated. It’s not just about the treatment, but how they make you feel throughout the whole visit …relaxed, taken care of, and in safe hands. Honestly, I’m super happy with their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and friendly dental clinic!

I am extremely disappointed with the service at Dr Joy Dental Clinic. Their communication system is highly unprofessional — they do not send appointment confirmations via message and rely only on phone calls, often making last-minute changes. This is very inconvenient and not what you expect from a professional clinic. I have raised this issue multiple times through their call centre, but even after 8 months, there has been absolutely no improvement. It clearly shows a lack of concern for patient experience. On top of that, the waiting time is always between 20 to 40 minutes, even with a pre-booked appointment. This is completely unfair and reflects poor time management. The only reason I continued with them is because I had already paid in full for my Invisalign treatment without insurance. Unfortunately, the treatment itself has also been disappointing. Instead of improving, my gaps have worsened, which is very concerning. Overall, choosing this clinic has been a mistake. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for reliable service, professionalism, and quality dental care.

I have had the best experience with Dr Joy both for myself and my 2 year old son. My son’s dentist, Dr Mandeep, is extremely knowledgeable and the way he is able to make my son feel so at ease / comfortable is such a win! He is so lovely to work with and it’s so evident that he takes such pride in doing the absolute best for your child! I wouldn’t go to anyone else for his check ups. The waiting room downstairs also is full of both interactive and educational toys to occupy / entertain small children which is ALWAYS a positive when dealing with a toddler, as it just improves the overall experience from start to finish. For myself, the whole team i’ve worked with have been absolutely fantastic. Dr Holly, Hadjer and Dr Zainab were all extremely professional, polite, and very clearly great at what they do! It’s always good when you find ‘your dentist’ that you stick with and i’m very lucky i’ve found that for both me and my son at the same place! Would 10/10 recommend!

We had a great experience at Dr Joy Dental Clinic, and we can’t say enough about how amazing Dr. Mandeep is! We were coming all the way from Abu Dhabi to Dubai just to see him, and every visit was smooth. My son was a bit nervous about his visit, but Dr. Mandeep was so gentle, patient, and empathetic and made him feel comfortable and safe. He has a remarkable ability to connect with children. He explains every step of the procedure in a calm, reassuring way that my son could understand and he was very attentive to my son’s feelings. He always listened, and made sure my son felt confident and calm throughout the visit. Also, he is very efficient, striking the perfect balance between speed and thorough, compassionate care. It’s such a relief to see a doctor who can handle everything efficiently while keeping the child completely comfortable. The clinic itself is clean, organized, and very child-friendly, which only added to the positive experience.

Dr. Mandeep is truly the best pediatric dentist! We had an amazing experience during our visit. I had the absolute best experience with Dr. Akram Altawachi during my Invisalign treatment. As a dentist myself, I’m quite particular about details and I was truly impressed by his precision, honesty, and the care he puts into every step of treatment. Dr. Akram explained everything clearly from day one, always taking the time to make sure I was comfortable and fully understood the process. His approach is calm, professional, and incredibly reassuring. The results turned out even better than I imagined my smile looks amazing and completely natural!
