I just visited Bar and Smith Dental at their location on e24th street as a new patient today, and had an amazing experience. From my first contact with Taylor, their scheduling coordinator, I was treated with kindness, empathy and she actually cared and listened to me. My office visit was quick and painless. I was x-rayed, and Dr Bar came in to discuss my care plan, which was far less dramatic than what I had envisioned lol. Dillon, their financial coordinator was helpful, down to earth and took care of my financial worries in 5 minutes, then sent me to finish my scheduling. Everyone who I encountered in this practice was lovely, kind and thorough and made a dreaded dentist visit something pleasant. Thank you all so much!

I'm a former patient of Dr. Schwartz but had to switch dentists after moving out of state. It's been more than 5 years now, and I weirdly found myself thinking the other day about how good he is. It took me awhile to find a new dentist I trusted after the move, and when I had questions about procedures being recommended by prospective new dentists, Dr. Schwartz was kind enough to respond and give his thoughts. He truly cares about his patients and puts them first. This shouldn't be such a rare thing, but unless you've been much more lucky than I have, I've learned it's hard to find a quality dentist. Hopefully, this review will save you a little effort.

I was a patient of Dr Schwartz for 9 years before moving to the Midwest. I haven’t found a dentist who compares! His office manager Nina is lovely and remembers all patients by name. The hygienists are extremely thorough and competent. The office is designed nicely with neat colorful nicknacks, and it is very clean. Dr Schwartz is smart and is an overall excellent and thorough dentist. I highly recommend him!

I do not say this lightly; Dr. Schwartz is amazing! I've hated dentists my entire life but Dr. Schwartz might have easily changed my mind. His office is clean and comfortable, the wait is practically non-existent, his entire staff is friendly and accommodating, his hygienist is incredibly gentle, and the entire team went out of their way to make sure I get the quickest treatment possible. I actually look forward to returning.

Got transferred to Flatiron / Kips Bay so I needed a new dentist. A couple of co workers recommended Marty. I quickly realized how comfortable it is because they've created a homely, friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Everyone is so nice and warm, and Marty shows so much concern, respect and interest. He's upfront about the procedures and the cost. He's just completely sincere. I really like that.
