Dr. Michael Tran

Hey lets put it this way, Some people have the greatest personalities, however your smile is not that great. Especially your phobia of going to the dentist because of childhood trauma from being stuck so hard with the needle. If anyone who has the experience to take care of you like family it's Dr. Tran. He has given me so much help. I am finishing a project that took many years to complete. I trust his experience and work. He treats you like family and that is tops in my book!

Today was my second time to have my dental routine checked up at Dr Michael TRAN’s office. It was strange that I hadn’t met my dentist as a new client so far (my first time I went to his office was 6 months ago) as I mentioned it with the technician who did my teeth cleaning. I believed they told him about my concern. Dr Tran showed up to look at my teeth less than one minute then walk away, hilarious! As a clinical pharmacist who works in a hospital, I am somehow knowing what is needed to be done by the dentist with his patients specially a brand new patient like me. Also I have PPO Insurance that I am deserved a better care what I payed for. I don’t think I will come back to his office and absolutely not recommend this dentist to everyone.

No one likes coming to the dentist. I absolutely dread it, causes me anxiety, and I’m extremely frustrated by the scam that is dental insurance. All that aside, Dr. Tran and his team are excellent. They make it very easy for me to schedule whether it is an emergency or routine cleaning, make it clear the cost, and give excellent care as well as quality work. I greatly appreciate him and his team, we have never had a negative experience and we’ve been coming here for a couple years and plan on continuing with him for years to come.

I had a regular dentist but I switched to Delta Dental to save money. I went to Dr. Tran to replace a broken partial denture. Dr. Tran said I needed three cavities filled and two crowns before a partial could be fitted. I was not shown the x-rays. Angie, the secretary, told me verbally it would cost $776 for the fillings and crowns, which seemed reasonable compared to my previous costs so I OKed the plan. After the drilling and filling I asked for a detailed written invoice, which Angie provided: I saw there was $400 in upgrades for Zirconia crowns instead of the standard porcelain, a choice that was not originally mentioned but which I decided to not make an issue of. The partial denture that broke I had been using for 42 years (!) so I asked for an exact duplicate. Dr. Tran took photos and sent them to the lab, the actual fixture still in my mouth for cosmetic purposes. The partial came back from the lab uncomfortable, unstable, and not at all like the original. Dr. Tran tried to adjust it but it is now gathering dust in my junk drawer. I don't know if my previous dentist was incompetent for not finding those three cavities or whether Dr. Tran drilled healthy teeth. I do know Angie acted unethically by not telling me I had a choice on the upgrades. I also know the lab work was unacceptable. I'm back to my previous insurance plan but looking for a new dentist and a different lab.

This is a WONDERFUL dentist! Great staff! Clean office! Everyone is welcoming, warm, and professional! Every experience with them is extremely good! Thankful for this dentist and staff!
