About Dr.R Bruce Miller DDS MS PA DBA Charlotte Prosthodontics
Dr.R Bruce Miller DDS MS PA DBA Charlotte Prosthodontics operates on Randolph Road in the Wendover - Sedgewood area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.
Prosthetic dentistry is the branch concerned with replacing missing teeth and restoring damaged ones — dentures, bridges, crowns, and implant-supported restorations all sit within this area, chosen based on how much natural tooth and bone remain.
Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.
Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.
Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.
Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. The staff is always welcoming, pleasant, and helpful! Dr. Miller gave my family a great experience by getting us in for an appointment in a timely manner and taking time and great care of us.
I was overdue for a dentist visit and Dr. Miller and his staff were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole appointment! Recommended to friends.
A wonderful experience!!! I don’t have dental insurance and Dr. Miller took great care of me at a very reasonable price. He and his staff were friendly and cared about my care. Would highly recommend!
This is by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had in my life! I have paid around $4K for just a upper denture that I don't even have after almost 3 years. This man will not give me my money back and I can no longer travel to Charlotte nor do I have any money left. I would not recommend this place at all. If I could give no stars I would! My gums stay sore and without my money I can't go elsewhere to get a denture. I'm out of work due to caring for my terminally I'll mother and even that doesn't matter. Read other reviews! This man only cares about money in his pocket not his patience or others! There is not one thing that they can say to justify these actions. 36 years of ripping people off. If everyone could come together and take these matter to court maybe something could be done to stop this! This isnt a godly man or place. BEWARE!!!! I hope that I can help someone from making the same mistake that I did. Do not go here! SHARE FAR AND WIDE!!!!! EDITED TO ADD: They continue to say that I'm 1 appointment away from being completed which is NOT true due to him not being able to find teeth small enough to fit my mouth even after several pictures of my original smile with my real teeth was sent. So every time that my denture was changed to different teeth I was charged extra lab fees which was not my fault that the teeth was too big! Also a wax try in mold was sent to me through the mail to try in which was poorly packaged and the whole wax mold was melted with the teeth pointing ever which way and I could not even begin to attempt to try it in. I was referred to this place, I did not choose it on my own. Go to your local dentist! Read reviews! Do not pay a lot of money up front because I know that I paid for a full upper denture that I don't have because he could not make it with smaller teeth which is not my fault. I have a missed appointment on my record due to being in a car accident which also was not my fault nor could I help that. I can not work at the moment due to declining health at 43 years old and taking care of my mother but I can't get my money back from a wealthy man so that I can survive and get me a denture that will fit. God don't like ugly and you can't take riches with you in the end. I have begged him for a couple of years with no luck! I'm tired of fighting mentally, emotionally, and physically. What was supposed to be 3, 1 hour long visits ended up being almost a year of 15 to 30 minute visits that how now been 2 years of nothing at all. I wish that wealthy people wasn't so greedy, more understanding and compassionate, empathetic, and sympathetic for the less fortunate! God says vengeance is his so that's that.
Dr. Miller is the dentist’s dentist. Dentists know what excellent work and reasonable treatment plans look like and for this reason we choose Dr. Miller for ourselves. That should speak volumes about the quality you will receive if you are fortunate enough to be accepted as a patient of Dr. Miller. As a bonus, his staff is top notch which is a reflection of the manager that leads his team. Everyone including the assistants are highly trained and very professional. This practice gets my highest recommendation.
Dr. Miller is patient and kind in delivering top-notch service at his clinic! I've been a customer at various locations in the Charlotte area over the years, but this location is one that I've felt the most comfortable at. I've never asked a question that's been left unanswered, nor have I had a service that's been delivered short of excellence.
Dr. Miller and his lab created a poor fitting denture for me. I worked with him over several months to try to get the denture adjusted to fit my bite so that it would not hurt. He blamed me for the denture not fitting. Since he was unable to adjust the denture anymore without running the risk of breaking it, he suggested shaving down my healthy teeth on the opposing side to make it fit. After consulting other dentists they concluded that the denture was faulty, should be redone and I should not shave healthy teeth. Dr. Miller decided to fire me as his patient rather than accepting responsibility and asking the lab to fix it or have it redone. I spent over $4000 on the denture and did not receive a viable product. I do not recommend Dr. Miller.
Great staff, service and work!! I broke a tooth and didn't know what to expect when I scheduled the appointment (referred by my regular dentist). Dr Miller and his staff was very helpful, explained my options and gave his opinion when I asked. I'm very pleased with the entire implant process.
