First time visiting, normally my wife takes my kids to these appointments. I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my daughter to be seen, watching videos in the lobby with literally 1 click of volume. They came and complained at me about my phone because shes in the back, behind closed doors, having to make calls. I could barely hear my phone? Seemed overly petty, passive aggressive and unnecessary. I could understand if my phone was blaring at max volume, but it was turned almost all the way down.

. We had an 11:00 appointment that turned into nearly an hour wait with only vague updates from staff. The schedule clearly revolves around the office rather than respecting patients’ time. The office also refused to allow me to accompany my fiancée during the appointment. While it may be their policy, it is unnecessary and unaccommodating when patients may want support during a medical or dental visit. And They aren’t informing people that there treatments aren’t fda approved that is against informed consent at least to my knowledge. They also don’t listen to what there patience’s say potentially missing cases like mine saying I needed to brush more I have an enamel disorder so no matter how much I brushed my teeth and they still were destroyed Now there repeating this path with my fiancé

Dr. Holt & the entire staff are hands down the best dentistry office in the Coos Bay/North Bend area. I called to make a new patient appt and was given excellent service. I arrived for my appt & the wait was minimal. The dental assistant is meticulous & we had an extensive discussion regarding my dental & health history. Dr.Holt is amazing and truly understands & cares about each patient. I have numerous issues needing to be addressed and he was thorough when explaining each one. I also have an autoimmune disorder affecting my dental health- Dr Holt understood & made suggestions.I left the appt armed with a complete understanding of what my next steps are. Thank you to Dr.Holt and staff for making me feel comfortable & listening to my concerns.

We absolutely love Dr. Holt and his entire team! From the moment you walk in, everyone is kind, welcoming, and incredibly patient! My 3-year-old has always hated going to the dentist. We’re talking screaming, tears, full-on fear. At our last visit, he insisted he would only let a “girl” clean his teeth. I don’t know why!! Instead of brushing it off or forcing the situation, Dr. Holt did something I will never ever forget! — he came back into the room wearing a hat and wig just to make my son comfortable! Totally Silly and totally amazing! And guess what? No tears. No screaming. Just a calm, happy little boy who felt heard. That level of compassion and creativity is rare. It says so much about who he is — not just as a dentist, but as a human. He truly goes above and beyond! We are so grateful to have found such a lovely, patient, and genuinely caring dental office! 3pm appointment, we were asked to come at 2:30 for paper work, left to sit and wait for almost 2 hours, when asked how far behind they were after a hour and a half I was treated rudely and dismissed. Front staff was rude, once I got back with my daughter and expressed my frustration I was once again disregarded. No apology, I manage a business and felt this was very unprofessional and disheartening. Also to add, the dentist, owner, operator did nothing but make excuses. No regard for anyone’s time but his.

A few years ago I was a new patient with Dr. Holt. He did an initial evaluation that was much more comprehensive than I’d ever received. During that evaluation he noticed acid impacting my teeth and encouraged me to visit with my primary care doctor to understand the source of this issue. On subsequent visits Dr Holt encouraged me to find the time to schedule visits with other specialists and eventually to get an upper endoscopy. As a result, I learned about my severe allergy to gluten. Changing my diet has improved my health dramatically, proving me with the energy and immune system health that is essential to support my busy career and family life. I cannot thank Dr. Holt enough for his thoughtful and comprehensive evaluation and his persistent encouragement - he changed the trajectory of my health!
