About Dr. Wisdom Teeth

Some surgical practices narrow their scope until they do one thing constantly, and this one has narrowed to wisdom teeth. Dr. Heath Hendrickson removes third molars, impacted, partially erupted and fully erupted, upper and lower, and does not divide his week between implants, grafting and jaw surgery. Repetition is the argument for that model: a surgeon who takes out third molars all day has seen your particular root configuration many times, and the clinical team is drilled on the same sequence. Jennifer Frame, the lead clinical assistant, is trained in sedation monitoring and phlebotomy, and Emery Killian is a licensed CNA.

The decision most patients are stuck on is whether to be awake or asleep. Here it is settled in advance: IV sedation is included for every patient rather than sold as an upgrade, which is why the practice can publish a flat $1,099 for all four wisdom teeth with sedation in the price. That number is posted rather than quoted after a workup, so you can compare it against what your insurance would leave you owing elsewhere before you commit to anything. Costs and insurance are discussed before treatment begins.

Platelet-rich fibrin is included at no extra charge, which is worth understanding rather than taking on faith. A small blood draw is spun down in a centrifuge, and the resulting fibrin clot is packed into the empty socket, where it holds the site stable and concentrates your own healing factors exactly where bone has to fill in. The practical goal is a lower chance of dry socket, the exposed-bone complication that turns day three into the worst day, and a quicker return to normal chewing. It is not a guarantee, and the usual rules still apply: no straws, no smoking, no vigorous rinsing for the first few days.

The office is at 5888 South 900 East in Murray, on the 900 East corridor near the Murray and Holladay line, which puts it a short drive from Murray, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights and Millcreek. Phones and consultations run 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with surgical appointments concentrated on Fridays, which is genuinely convenient if you cannot miss school or work midweek.

A Murray practice limited to third molar removal, where Dr. Heath Hendrickson includes IV sedation for every patient and platelet-rich fibrin at no extra charge, at a published flat fee of $1,099 for all four wisdom teeth. Consultations run weekdays; surgery is concentrated on Fridays so the heaviest recovery lands on the weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the $1,099 price really all-in?
The practice publishes $1,099 for all four wisdom teeth with IV sedation included, which is unusual in a field where sedation is normally billed separately. Costs and insurance are discussed before treatment begins, so confirm at the consultation what applies to your case, particularly if you need fewer than four teeth removed or if your medical history changes the anesthesia plan.
What is PRF, and why is it included?
Platelet-rich fibrin comes from a small blood draw taken on the day of surgery. The sample is spun in a centrifuge, and the resulting fibrin clot is packed into the empty socket, holding it stable and concentrating your own healing factors where the bone needs to fill in. The aim is a lower risk of dry socket and faster healing. It is included here at no extra charge.
When are surgeries actually scheduled at the Murray office?
Phones and consultations run Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with surgical appointments concentrated on Fridays. That is deliberate: a Friday extraction gives you Saturday and Sunday to get through the worst of the swelling before school or work. Arrange your driver in advance, because IV sedation is standard here and you will not be able to drive yourself home afterwards.

Appointment scheduling was easy. I got into the office within 2 weeks. Our appointment start time was a little delayed but overall everything was super efficient. Take home instructions are easy to understand. 4 wisdom teeth extractions took about 40 minutes once he went back. I came home with 3 prescriptions and Tylenol OTC. They also provided gauze, a cleaning syringe, and dry socket care. You can even ask to keep your teeth, which my kid definitely did. Thanks so much.

This place is awesome. Wisdom Teeth only is the best place I could have ever been to for all my wisdom teeth removal. They walk you step by step on appropriate aftercare. Provide you with a goodie bag with gauzes and such. As well as a prescription for medication for any pain (if applicable) and/or mouth wash specific for wisdom teeth surgery. Staff is super nice and professional. Shout out to Dr. Hendrickson for my wisdom teeth surgery. He did a really good job and took care of me all the way through. I’m super happy in the end.

I had such an amazing experience at Wisdom Teeth Only in Sandy! I was really nervous going in because this was my first surgery ever, and I was getting all four wisdom teeth removed—but they made me feel completely comfortable before, during, and after the procedure. The staff was so kind and reassuring, and they honestly made the whole experience feel easy and even a little fun. I didn’t even realize when I fell asleep—it felt like the surgery lasted one minute, even though it was actually about 30–45 minutes! The procedure was quick, clean, and very smooth, and the wait time wasn’t long at all. I also made sure to follow all the before and after care instructions carefully, which I think really helped my recovery. I’m now on day 4 and feel great—no swelling, no problems at all! The procedure was also very affordable for an out-of-pocket payment, which I really appreciated. I would 100% recommend Wisdom Teeth Only in Sandy to anyone nervous about getting their wisdom teeth removed! Thank you so much to the team for making such an important and scary experience feel so easy and stress-free.

They made the process smooth and easy for my son and me his parent. He was all done in just over an hour. So far his recovery has gone very well as I decided to to wait to write this review until he was back to his usual self. Great service they are providing! Would recommend to anyone needing their wisdom teeth removed.

They run this place like a well oiled machine & their employees are kind and caring. Here’s what I just reported back to the Dr who left a voicemail checking on my son-Thank you for calling last night, just wanted to report he is doing really well. The very specific instructions help a lot. Nothing post op is happening that we don’t expect to & he’s doing well. Thank you for your skill & care.
