Dufferin Vaughan Dental Centre

I took my son to Dufferin Vaughan Dental Center because his baby teeth were loose and needed to be removed. After doing an X-ray, they said he also had 3–4 very small cavities and gave us an appointment for treatment. On the day of the appointment, the female dentist started working and applied local anesthesia several times. She kept injecting the gums repeatedly, which already made my child very uncomfortable. After a short time, she suddenly said: “I can’t do this, take him somewhere else.” I was shocked. In a country like Canada, it’s disappointing to see such inexperienced and unprofessional dentists still working — and worse, calling themselves pediatric specialists. A real children’s dentist should know how to handle kids patiently, not give up halfway through treatment. This is not just a single clinic’s problem — it reflects a bigger issue in Canada’s dental system, where many so-called “doctors” take advantage of patients’ trust without showing real skill, empathy, or responsibility. Very disappointing experience.

Melissa is always very welcoming. The dentist explained everything before starting the dental process and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Both the dentist and her assistant are very nice, and I always have a good experience during my appointments. Now, my husband also goes to the same dental office.

Our family has been going to Dufferin Vaughan Dental for years. The team is amazing! Genuinely friendly and knowledgeable with all our questions. They are wonderful with my young kids as well. I would recommend Dufferin Vaughan Dental to anyone!

Last Thursday I started to have a pain in my mouth, by Monday it had not resolved itself. I called the clinic Monday night at 6:30, and left a message asking for an appointment asap and told them my concern. I promptly got a call back, and an appointment for the next day! I was so happy they could fit me in right away! At the appointment, the dental hygienist listened to my concern and took an X-ray. The doctor then came in, also took the time to listen to me & check out the issue. He prescribed me a rinse. I was hesitant a rinse would solve my pain, however, 1 day later my pain was gone, and 3 days later my gum irritation is gone!! I was only charged for the X-ray, and the care I received was amazing. Thank you so much Dr. Keren & the entire team! You are awesome! I have had the chance see all the dentists at the clinic and they are all so kind. And big shout out to Melissa at the front desk - she is so friendly! The clinic is clean, everyone is friendly, and pricing is fair (I don’t have insurance). I would highly recommend this clinic!

Very happy with my experience here. Dr Keren is super friendly and makes sure you're comfortable during your visit. My dental work with him has been completely painless. Michelle is also a great hygienist.
