About Eberhardt Dentistry: Kyle S. Eberhardt DDS

Three dentists share the chairs at this Wallhaven practice — Dr. Kyle Eberhardt, DDS alongside Dr. Marina Ojaimi and Dr. Alexandra Metzger — and that staffing shows up in who they see. Children come for first visits and preventive care, adults for crowns, root canals and cosmetic work, and older patients for implants and All-on-4 restorations, frequently across the same family. Emergency appointments are part of the mix too, which is a different rhythm from a purely cosmetic office. The practice describes its aim as genuine relationships and uncompromising standards, and in day-to-day terms that reads as longer consultations and more explanation before treatment starts.

The CEREC system is the reason a crown here can be a single appointment rather than two. In the conventional sequence, a tooth is prepared, a physical impression is posted to a laboratory, a temporary crown is cemented, and you return two or three weeks later hoping the temporary has held. With chairside milling, the prepared tooth is scanned with a small camera instead of an impression tray, the restoration is designed on screen while you wait, and a milling unit in the office cuts it from a solid ceramic block. It is stained, glazed, fired and bonded the same visit. You leave with the finished crown, no temporary and no second injection. The trade-off is that a single ceramic block cannot match every shade nuance of a front tooth, so highly visible restorations are sometimes still better sent to a laboratory technician — worth asking which route your case calls for.

The office occupies Suite 540 at 1655 West Market Street, on the Wallhaven stretch between downtown Akron and Fairlawn, near Sand Run Metro Park and convenient for West Akron, Bath and the Merriman Valley.

Scheduling is unusually flexible for a four-day week: Monday runs until six in the evening, Thursday opens at seven in the morning, and Tuesday and Wednesday fall in between. Fridays and weekends are closed, so an emergency arising Friday evening will need a call first thing Monday. Patient financing and membership plans are offered for those without insurance.

A West Market Street practice in Akron's Wallhaven neighbourhood staffed by Dr. Kyle Eberhardt, DDS with Dr. Marina Ojaimi and Dr. Alexandra Metzger, treating children through to older adults. Services span preventive and pediatric care, restorative and cosmetic work, root canals, extractions, implants and All-on-4, plus emergency appointments. CEREC chairside milling allows crowns to be designed and fitted in one visit. Sedation is available, and membership plans exist for uninsured patients. Closed Fridays and weekends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a same-day crown really finished in one appointment?
Yes for most back teeth. The tooth is prepared, scanned with a small camera rather than an impression tray, designed on screen, then milled from a ceramic block in the office, glazed and bonded the same visit. There is no temporary crown and no second injection. Front teeth are the exception: matching the layered translucency of a natural incisor sometimes calls for a laboratory technician instead.
Can the whole family be seen at this office, including young children?
Yes. The practice lists pediatric care alongside preventive, restorative, cosmetic and surgical dentistry, and three dentists share the schedule, which helps when you want several appointments grouped. First visits for young children are usually short and largely about familiarisation — counting teeth, a ride in the chair, a fluoride application — rather than treatment, so it is worth booking a child's appointment early in the day.
What are the options if I do not have dental insurance?
The practice offers patient financing and an in-house membership plan. Membership plans generally charge an annual fee that covers examinations, X-rays and cleanings, then discount other treatment by a set percentage. They are not insurance and have no annual maximum, which suits people who mainly need preventive care. Ask for the fee schedule in writing and compare it against what you actually expect to need.

I have a condition which makes my gums very sore, the tissue very friable. I had a cleaning today which was absolutely painless. The technician was very careful about her work. I cannot recommend Eberhardt Dentistry highly enough.

Dr. Eberhardt provided me with a new dental device and I was very pleased with the fit of the device and time Dr. Eberhardt spent with me. The staff in the office are very friendly and I was favorably impressed with the new testament bibles on a table in the waiting room and there was a sign you could take one if you wished. Refreshing to see.

A family member recommended Dr. Kyle Eberhardt, when I moved back to the Akron area a few years ago. I'm so grateful that they did! "Dr. Kyle" is so skilled, gentle, & communicative throughout every procedure. He's done fillings, crowns & an implant for me. I have a very high level of confidence in Dr. Kyle & his whole staff... especially Jamie, Tiffany, Jennifer, & Dawn. The front desk staff is also amazing! For regular scheduling, emergency scheduling & written estimates... you're in good hands with Patty & Michaela. My health insurance does not include dental coverage, so I'm on the Eberhardt monthly Membership Plan. It makes it very convenient for budgeting cleanings etc. Membership also gets me a discount on additional procedures. I also love that the office has updated technology & equipment. Everything is always clean & bright. I'm very appreciative of Dr. Kyle & his entire office. I highly recommend them! 😁

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kyle Eberhardt and his entire team. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a staff that truly cares about your comfort and well-being. Dr. Eberhardt is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything so you feel confident and at ease. He has a great bedside manner and genuinely listens to his patients, which makes all the difference. The staff is just as impressive—friendly, efficient, and always willing to go the extra mile. Scheduling is easy, wait times are minimal, and the overall experience is seamless. It’s clear they take pride in providing top-quality care, and it shows. If you’re looking for a dentist who combines expertise with compassion, this is the place. I highly recommend Dr. Eberhardt and his outstanding team to anyone!
