Children come for first visits and preventive care, adults for crowns, root canals and cosmetic work, and older patients for implants and All-on-4 restorations, frequently across the same family. Emergency appointments are part of the mix too, which is a different rhythm from a purely cosmetic office. The practice describes its aim as genuine relationships and uncompromising standards, and in day-to-day terms that reads as longer consultations and more explanation before treatment starts.
The CEREC system is the reason a crown here can be a single appointment rather than two. In the conventional sequence, a tooth is prepared, a physical impression is posted to a laboratory, a temporary crown is cemented, and you return two or three weeks later hoping the temporary has held. With chairside milling, the prepared tooth is scanned with a small camera instead of an impression tray, the restoration is designed on screen while you wait, and a milling unit in the office cuts it from a solid ceramic block. It is stained, glazed, fired and bonded the same visit. You leave with the finished crown, no temporary and no second injection. The trade-off is that a single ceramic block cannot match every shade nuance of a front tooth, so highly visible restorations are sometimes still better sent to a laboratory technician — worth asking which route your case calls for.
The office occupies Suite 540 at 1655 West Market Street, on the Wallhaven stretch between downtown Akron and Fairlawn, near Sand Run Metro Park and convenient for West Akron, Bath and the Merriman Valley.
Scheduling is unusually flexible for a four-day week: Monday runs until six in the evening, Thursday opens at seven in the morning, and Tuesday and Wednesday fall in between. Fridays and weekends are closed, so an emergency arising Friday evening will need a call first thing Monday. Patient financing and membership plans are offered for those without insurance.

My health insurance does not include dental coverage, so I'm on the Eberhardt monthly Membership Plan. It makes it very convenient for budgeting cleanings etc. Membership also gets me a discount on additional procedures. I also love that the office has updated technology & equipment.
