I thought I already wrote a review about this place, they definitely deserve it! I have been going to this office since I moved here about 4 years ago, and it is absolutely the best! Starting from the women that work at the front desk like Tammy, who are always incredibly nice and go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. I never developed good hygiene habits growing up so I have had A LOT of work done. I can confidently say Dr. Patel is not only one of the most painless and fast, but also does high quality work. She also has a very calming and kind personality that really helps me feel at ease. I usually notice a give in one of those areas, but Dr. Patel really can do it all! Last time I had a cleaning, I had the pleasure of working with Tina. I told her about some of my struggles with dental hygiene that stem from my AuDHD/sensory sensitivities and she gave me practical advice that works with my needs as a neurodivergent patient. Honestly, this office in general has given me so many good tips that are specific and actionable. They also don't make me feel bad for needing headphones and communicate well throughout any visit. I highly recommend this office if you are neurodivergent or have a child that is, because I know first hand how hard it is to have sensory needs not taken seriously. They go above and beyond to make sure the experience is as comfortable and painless as possible! I also wanted to note because I don't know where else to put it, they really have some advanced technology as far as this field goes. I am not sure if this is just a higher standard of care that Connecticut has or if this office is just on the cutting edge, but they are on another level. The water they use is never icy cold which has hurt at other dentists, their x-ray equipment doesn't cut the inside of my mouth (which is admittedly probably on the small side for an adult), and the numbing gel doesn't hurt more than the injections (which I used to ask to skip for that reason). These are all common issues I ran into before coming here from Pittsburgh, PA and Columbus, OH before that.

I have been going to the Elmwood Dental Group for several years now and am extremely pleased with the care I receive there. Most recently, I had the great pleasure to have my teeth cleaned by Dental Hygienist Tina. She was skilled, efficient, and very personable. While dental work is, well, dental work, I can honestly say that this office successfully makes it as painless and non-threatening as is humanly possible.

I absolutely love Nicole and the dentists here. Not only do they accommodate getting me comfortable being in a dentist chair, but engages in meaningful conversations which show they all take the time to get to know each client. Nicole is phenomenal

Drs. Patel and Nanda are wonderful. As a matter of fact , the entire staff are so personable and accommodating. If you are in need of dental services do consider Elmwood Dental.

I was very impressed with the treatment I received at Elmwood Dental. The front desk staff were friendly and greeted me with a smile. Angelina cleaned my teeth. She could not have been any more gentle or caring. Before working on my teeth, she asked me questions about myself so that she could know the person she was working on. I have never been treated better. Angelina explained everything to me before she did anything. The office was very clean and the entire staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend Elmwood Dental to anyone that needs a dentist. You will not be disappointed.

My hygienist, Nicole knows I have several sensitive areas during cleanings and she always navigates them with gentle precision. If you are in the market for a new dentist try Elmwood.

I highly recommend Elmwood Dental. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, from reception Steph and Tammy, Angelina for my cleanings, Dental Assistant Yari who makes you at ease, Melissa office manager that helped with billing questions, and of course Dr Rupal Patel who made me feel better. They all make you feel comfortable. I had a few problems with my teeth and was able to get Appointment promptly.

This is my second time at Elmwood Dental after Dr. Nanda moved there (she is absolutely wonderful and would highly recommend her as your dentist). But i’m especially thankful today for the hospitality of the staff that checked me in, the hygienist I saw, and Dr. Patel! Everyone was incredibly welcoming. Huge shoutout to Angelina—She was a rockstar hygienist who talked me through every step and how I can better take care of my teeth like better methods to brushing. She’s incredibly detailed and sweet. On top of that, she was personable which I feel gets lost in these kinds of appointments. She asked me if I had travel I was excited about, my job, etc. She really went above and beyond. This office is lucky to have her! In addition to Angelina, I saw Dr. Patel today as Dr. Nanda was out of the office and she was incredibly kind, thorough and direct. I appreciated her style of explanation, no sugar coating anything with steps to avoid my concerns. She really listened to me! Lastly, the front office personnel I worked with was incredibly sweet (her name is escaping me). I forgot my HSA card and she helped me with a workaround to pay online after the visit so I could use it when I got home. Overall, this office is crushing it. Between their doctors, hygienists and front office staff, I’m glad I could see them again. Feels like my dental care is taken seriously and done thoroughly.

First time having a cleaning with Nicole - she was great! Kind, funny and compassionate. First time meeting Dr. Nanda as well, kind and efficient. Front office staff is always competent and friendly as well. Highly recommend - start to finish. Love to support small, local businesses ❤️

Always a pleasant experience here. The team really cares and they are very knowledgeable. My teeth health has improved dramatically since I started coming here. I will recommend Elmwood Dental to everyone!

Highly recommend Elmwood Dental. The team is great and super gentle. Sarah is a great hygienist! Shes always listens to your concerns, thoroughly cleans my teeth and is always checking on my comfort. I enjoy coming to the dentist now! Dr Patel is great with suggestions and catching issues before they become permanent problems.
