Will not be back at this location. They have switched dentist first of all dr.patel is no longer there he was great I had several cavities filled and a tooth removed that was infected and broken off. I was in an out within an hour no complications no medication needs. I was very happy with everything. I went to go get some cavities filled this time I was informed dr.patel left and there is a new dentist. She seemed nice but I could absolutely feel the difference in her work. Hands were definitely shakier and she kept leaving the room to go see other patients the numbing was wearing off she kept having to restick me. The other dentist didn't do this he finished with me and moved on in and out. I should've taken this as a warning. My next appointment I had to get a tooth pulled that has already been bothering me for weeks to begin with. I was nervous I already have anxiety about dental work and I was having a bad feeling but I went ahead with it anyway. Granted I'm aware it's not an exact science and things happen this didn't go anything like with Dr Patel. She numbed me up and left me in the room to go talk to another patient for 30 minutes just long enough to let me sit there and stew in my own nervousness. I could tell she was off this time she wasn't her bubbly self like last night her mood was absolutely off. We started knowing the tooth could break of and blah blah blah. I would just like to point out my other tooth broke with Dr.patel into a bunch of pieces as well and we didn't have this problem. She dug around looking for a root for over an hour. I was getting so overwhelmed I was having a hard time holding back there tears. She finally stopped and said let me get the X-ray out because I'm just blindly digging around in here saw there was still a root and went back to digging I guess she got tired and saw I was tired and decided to leave it in there which is fine if it doesn't cause any problems whatever. Here's what really pissed me off she offered me loritabs through my tears I told her I'm on Suboxone I don't want opiates can you do gabapentin she could have given me anything other than opiates. They never give opiates but it was bad enough she would offer them but not bad enough to figure out what I could take with my medication. I have been clean for two years my medications are clearly listed . I told dr.patel all of that and that I wanted no narcotics to begin with. After I said that her whole vibe changed I could feel the air sucked out of the room and I could tell she immediately became colder. She no longer called me honey and I left in tears . She was also supposed to send in antibiotics because I had just been in there getting cavities filled and I told her about this same tooth never happened. I don't think it was infected anyway just broken. Anyways so now I'm 2 days out my face is incredibly swollen and red on that side which didn't happen last time or ever this isn't the only tooth I've had taken out . My neck is incredibly stiff from can't open my mouth very far can't really eat Everytime I lay down I get a pain in the back of my head. There's a weird ringing in my ear that wasnt there before and I'm just really disappointed honestly. So y'all have a pride logo on these reviews but someone who has been a addicted and has turned there life around clearly in pain and upset can't get the right care and treatment afterwards. I just refuse to believe she couldn't have sat down for five second and looked for a non opiate to give after seeing how much I was struggling. I also don't understand why she thought it was a good idea to work on multiple people at once but hey I guess I don't make the big bucks I'm just an addict right ? I don't expect anything from this nor do I want anything but I want you to understand Id be at more of a risk relapsing right now feeling like this now I have to go to work today feeling like shit and face swollen in pain that Tylenol and ibuprofen isn't even touching right now.I will not be back to Dr Shakey hands .
An absolute nightmare that could cost you thousands of dollars in the long-run in the name of corporate greed. I followed my dentist from another location to the Donelson office. They immediately started committing fraud because my dentist had left to work somewhere else but they 1. Didn’t inform us of that until I specifically asked and 2. Put his name on the bill months after he left. They convinced me that I needed a crown I had no issues with replaced because it was “old.” They left my dentin/nerves exposed when they placed the new crown. Then they had to chop off and replace it again to fix their screw up. I audio recorded them for evidence of error. That took like 6 appointments to fix. That crown never stayed on and I had to have my tooth removed and replaced with an implant ($5k). This office is the epitome of evil and corporate greed and they’ll destroy your life for $500. I will never trust a dentist again because of this experience. My life has been hell for a year because of the pain and cost they caused.
This Embassy Dental in Donelson next to Target is the worst dentist office I've ever been to in my life. No one ever answers the phone when you call. Last time I tried to call and make an appointment when I was in pain and needed to be seen, no one ever answered the phone. I left messages and no one bothered to call me back. I even said in the messages it was an emergency that I was in pain. Apparently they didn't give a damn. This happened more than once. So if you can't answer the phone for patients or return their calls, why be in business? They lost me. I have switched to another dentist in Hermitage that does indeed answer their phone every time you call. That's what a business is supposed to do. Now they text my phone all the time saying they have availability, call and make an appointment. Nah, you couldn't answer the phone when I was in pain, I'm good. I guess they are desperate for patients now because they ran all the old ones off. Run to any other dentist office besides this one. They are not professional, you can't even get ahold of a living breathing human being when you need to make an appointment, they don't return calls, they don't give a damn if you are in pain and they just plain SUCK.
I have been with them for 8+years but would not recommend them. Hard to keep up with their practices especially scheduling and billing. Plus they bombard your phone with texts and call all day if you book an appointment.
Absolutely the worst experiences I've ever had in my entire life in the Murfreesboro location this woman should not be a dentist she did a crown than completely grinded it away and half the back side of my front tooth they charged my insurance 2000for shit work I can't ever get my teeth back she completely ruined my mouth! NEVER EVER GO HERE! My teeth from that crown being grinded down makes my teeth hit eachother and it's messing up my front teeth even more! I trusted them this isn't okay to do to people
This is truly been the best experience I’ve ever had with the dentist. The girls in the front offices are absolutely amazing! Raj was telling me step by step what he was doing and was super nice and gentle. I was super scared at first but it really was not bad at all!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
A truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff is not only friendly and knowledgeable but incredibly kind. Having dealt with a traumatic experience with a dentist in the past, I found myself struggling with those old emotions during my visit, but the entire team met me with such grace and genuine care. They were thoughtful and considerate throughout the whole process, I couldn't recommend them more!
Ive been coming here for years but they lost me as a customer today. Every appointment I have ever made has been rescheduled by them. It is for a different reason every time. I’ve been told someone took pto, someone is picking up their kids, someone works different hours now, someone is doing military training. And I think the workers SHOULD be able to leave and do those things, but I have to take time off work to go to the dentist too. And I have move meetings, find people to fill in for me, take pto or go without pay and I have to request that 2 weeks or ahead of time or more. I think the office needs to do a better job of hiring people to cover work or just upfront change your hours. This should not happen twice a year for the last 5 years.
Very friendly and professional staff. I liked the dentist. 🦷 He was very gentle with me ( I'm such a coward!) and didn't try to stretch my mouth to make it hurt for days. I'm getting 2 crowns so will update in 2 weeks when I get the permanent crowns.
