About Emergency Dental Care USA

Emergency Dental Care USA provides dental care on Wall Street in the Northeast Colorado Springs area of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Get in touch through it to ask questions or book a visit.

The dentist was exceptional, and although I had to wait almost an hour, it was worth the wait to relieve my pain.

I am thankful that they were open and they were very professional and they completed a root canal for an abscess I had in my mouth.

By far the best dentist I have been too. Everyone there was absolutely friendly and very respectful. Dr. Meyer was very thorough with his explanations. My tooth extraction was very calming and quick.

I came in to repair my front tooth which was cracked in half. The entire procedure was very informative making sure I knew exactly everything that was going to happen. Lashanda was very helpful making sure I was very comfortable and making sure my experience was positive. Very helpful and reassuring during my entire visit. Dr. Pieper made sure I was very comfortable during the actual procedure. Also my new tooth looks perfect and looks exactly like my old one as if the fracture never happened. I am very happy with my new tooth and can feel confident once again! Kathy at the front desk was super helpful getting me checked in and asked how many days I wanted off work for my doctor's note which was so nice of her! Overall my whole experience went amazingly and the whole staff made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout my visit! Would highly recommend to anybody!

Excellent customer service from Dr. Meyer, Kathy, and Chantel! I had an upper molar removed and the total experience was great. He really knows how to handle a needle, I had very little pain, and having palate injections can be extremely painful. His injections were not very painful at all, I was surprised. I was treated with the utmost respect and they took their time to answer all of my questions before and after the whole process. Everyone working there that night made me feel welcome and were very professional. I would rate more than 5 stars if I could, thank you soo much guys! I do not have to live in pain now 😀

I called last minute around 5:30 and they were able to fit me in right away at 6pm. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Kathy and Lashanda they could tell I was nervous and in pain and took action right away to help me, both of them were very professional, helpful, and caring! I met Dr. Pieper and he was amazing! So thankful to walk into such a great experience when I was at a low point and in pain. I left happy and painless thanks to them. Wonderful staff I wish I could give 100 stars!

Dr Meyer was amazing! Front staff was great. Back assistant was great. Scheduling was amazingly accommodating. But what was so massive is I had come back from Mexico that day with what we thought would need a root canal. He wasn’t convinced a root canal was needed, and it may have been an abscess that was taken care of so instead of doing the root canal he suggested I go home for a few days with some medicine and come right back if the pain was strong. I felt very well taken care of and he explained everything clearly I would recommend them to anyone.

What an unplanned Valentines date! My husband had a wonderful dinner reservation for us, and I woke up in excruciating pain!! Swollen jaw and horrible toothache. My local dentist did not have availability for several days, and then I found Emergency Dental! Kathy, at the front desk was amazing. She was professional and tremendously helpful with billing options. Victoria was my dental assistant, and again totally professional with a kind caring touch. And, then we met Dr.Piper. He was so down to earth and non-judgemental. He had a wealth of practical information and presented a treatment plan that was obtainable. After a lifetime of dental trauma, I found the right place. Human kindness and who person care. Feeling so much better today!! Thank you

What a great experience! We were able to get in on a Saturday for an emergency appointment. The front staff was so kind and welcoming with my mom who was very anxious and in pain. The dentist was right when he said we are Pain Free Office! We will now be going to this office for routine care, not just for emergency!! 5 stars!
