Emergency Dental Care USA is an emergency dental practice located at Suite 201, 6475 Wall Street, in the northeast Colorado Springs area. The office is in the 80918 zip code and provides emergency dental services to patients who need same-day or urgent dental care, including on Saturdays and at expanded hours.
The practice operates as an emergency dental clinic, meaning it is set up to see patients with acute dental conditions who cannot wait for a routine appointment. Common reasons patients seek emergency dental care include toothaches, dental abscesses, broken or cracked teeth, lost fillings or crowns, and other conditions requiring prompt evaluation and treatment.
Emergency services at the practice include evaluation and treatment for dental pain, tooth extractions when indicated, and assessment of conditions that may or may not require immediate intervention—such as determining whether an abscess warrants antibiotics and monitoring before more invasive treatment. Patients are encouraged to ask for a written treatment plan and full cost breakdown before agreeing to any procedure, particularly for higher-cost treatments such as root canals.
The practice accepts walk-in patients in addition to scheduled appointments, which can be useful for patients dealing with sudden dental emergencies outside normal business hours. Patients should confirm current availability, hours, and accepted payment methods before arriving, as emergency dental practices can have variable scheduling.

Dr Meyer was amazing! Front staff was great. Back assistant was great. Scheduling was amazingly accommodating. But what was so massive is I had come back from Mexico that day with what we thought would need a root canal. He wasn’t convinced a root canal was needed, and it may have been an abscess that was taken care of so instead of doing the root canal he suggested I go home for a few days with some medicine and come right back if the pain was strong. I felt very well taken care of and he explained everything clearly I would recommend them to anyone.
What a great experience! We were able to get in on a Saturday for an emergency appointment. The front staff was so kind and welcoming with my mom who was very anxious and in pain. The dentist was right when he said we are Pain Free Office! We will now be going to this office for routine care, not just for emergency!! 5 stars!
I was a walk in This entire office was a wonderful help. Kathy at the front desk was wonderful she work with me to find out my insurance information when I had very little information. After I was checked in the entire staff was very professional and friendly they were not judgmental but very helpful full. I would recommend them for all scheduled and emergency dental needs Thank you
What an unplanned Valentines date! My husband had a wonderful dinner reservation for us, and I woke up in excruciating pain!! Swollen jaw and horrible toothache. My local dentist did not have availability for several days, and then I found Emergency Dental! Kathy, at the front desk was amazing. She was professional and tremendously helpful with billing options. Victoria was my dental assistant, and again totally professional with a kind caring touch. And, then we met Dr.Piper. He was so down to earth and non-judgemental. He had a wealth of practical information and presented a treatment plan that was obtainable. After a lifetime of dental trauma, I found the right place. Human kindness and who person care. Feeling so much better today!! Thank you
DON’T GO TO THIS DENTAL CLINIC! I brought my wife there because she needed an emergency root canal. We had to pay for the procedure upfront, which was understandable since the clinic was not going to no to be able to direct bill our insurance company. While my wife was getting the root canal done, the local numbing/freezing of her mouth wasn’t really working, so she was feeling most of what the dentist was doing. Then, in the middle of the procedure, the dentist’s drill RAN OUT OF BATTERY and needed to get recharged! How is that even possible! Who uses a battery powered drill for something like this without having a back-up available? The dentist, Dr Choi, seriously lacked bedside manners and even got into a yelling spat with the dental assistant that was working with him that night, to the point that the dental assistant started to cry… After a few other issues and more improperly managed pain management on the dentist part towards my wife, the root canal was finally completed. Once it was all done, I came back to the clinic to pick my wife up and specifically asked the front desk employee if we still had anything to pay or if we were all set and could leave. I was then told that there were no other fees and that we were good to leave. The following day, I gathered and filled out all the necessary paperwork to send to my insurance company in order to get reimbursed for the procedure that I had already paid for. Due to some mistake with my insurance company, the reimbursement cheque was sent to the dental clinic instead of me. As soon as I found this out, I contacted the clinic and asked them to call as soon as the cheque was received by them. Once the cheque arrived, they did call me and after discussing it with them, I was told that they could deposit the cheque and that they would then simply reissue me a cheque for the same amount. I agreed to this option, WHICH WAS THE WORST DECISION I COULD HAVE TAKEN! A week later, having heard nothing back from the clinic regarding my reimbursement cheque, I called them was told that our reimbursement was under review. Another week went by with nothing heard so I went into the clinic to talk with someone in person and was told the same with again. Week after week went by with no news or updates. Finally after a month of waiting and calling at least once a week, I was told that reimbursements can take a while to get approved and processed and that they are all done by one department at the head office (which supposedly can’t be contacted or called because they supposedly don’t have phones at the head office…) and that they only meet once a week to discuss reimbursements. After 3 months of waiting and weekly calls and or visits to the clinic for updates, I was told that our reimbursement had been approved and that a cheque would be getting sent out to me, but that the cheque could take up to another 90 days for me to actually receive it in the mail. So, the clinic has had my money for over 3 months and it could take another 3 months for me to get my money back. So in total, it could take up to 6 months for this horrible company to pay me back my money! How can a company be able to operate in this manner? If I happened to owe money to a dental clinic, after a month or two of not paying my bill, they would send me a new bill which would definitely include an added interest payment that I would now have to also pay. I believe this company should have to do the same thing and pay me interest on the total amount owed to me. So, if you’re considering using this dental clinic, please save yourself from headaches and problems and horrible service and go elsewhere!
