Excellent experience! Yesterday, I took my mom in after she had been suffering from severe tooth pain for two weeks. I found this emergency dental clinic online, and to my surprise, they were able to schedule an appointment for her right away! My mom had three teeth extracted, and considering it was an emergency, I found the prices to be very reasonable. I'm truly grateful that they were able to see her the same day. It's such a relief to find a place that can help when you need it the most. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of emergency dental care! ❤️

Broke my tooth in half randomly and happened to be in portland and this place was open on a Saturday so i walked right in hoping for help until i could see my dentist. I was in and out in an hour with a perfectly fixed molar. Loved the staff. They were all so nice and the Dr was very informative and she was pleasant with a great sense of humor to boot. If I ever need emergency dental care again this is where I'll go.

Needed emergency dental work after my tooth broke on a Friday evening. Finding an emergency dentist with weekend availability was nearly impossible. At Emergency Dental Care I was able to book a 9am Saturday (next day) morning appointment. All of the staff, from Shannon at the front desk to the dentist & dental assistant were very personable and reassuring. The dentist explained all of my options clearly. The procedure definitely wasn’t comfortable, because of the work that needed to be done, but the staff made it as comfortable as possible.

The folks here were fairly nice but that's where the praises end. First of all they tried to shove an x ray machine into my partners mouth when he was clearly in a ton of pain. The lady "called backup" to get another nurse to try to shove it in harder when the first one was not able to. They ended up not getting proper x-rays and misdiagnosing the issue, which set us back not only money but valuable time. They were not able to treat anything on-site either which defeats the purpose of an emergency clinic. Dr Youngblood was clearly a caring guy but the energy was extremely unprofessional in the office, no real barriers between the rooms, coworkers yelling and laughing and singing loudly to each other... He ended up referring us to someone else since my partner was in so much pain, and the other doctor couldn't even get us in until days later.

It wasn’t the cleanest place. The ladies up front were chatting and on the phone and talking amongst themselves laughing and cussing. I honestly wouldn’t care, but I had my young daughter with me. We could hear them clear as day. I paid $25 for an assessment that took four minutes. I was told basically that there was nothing they could do in regards to my situation. I didn’t get any papers that stated what could possibly be wrong even though he told me or what exam if you can call it that was done. I just think it was very unprofessional. I would probably never go back there.

I had a great experience here when I needed emergency dental care. The front desk/admin staff were so supportive, quick, and helpful. The Dr was an extremely empathetic listener and heard and validated all of my concerns. They provided a prompt visit and beyond adequate help. Would definitely recommend!

The request for emergency dentist was quick and smooth for my fallen wotut crown. The dental appointment person was very helpful. I was assigned to Dr. Voo on the same day on time in the afternoon. The dental clinic receptionist Shannon and the xray technicians are all very friendly welcoming and gave an estimated 15 minutes completion of xray, examination, and doctor's assessment. It was all very timely. Dr. Voo is so professional, knowledgeable, and assessed the different options for resolutions with a pro and con of its options. The then recommended the best and the most reliable option. I was one of my best experienced in seeing a new dentist. Overall experience was very positive.

Walked in to a very friendly hard working environment of professionals I came in for a wisdom teeth removal and they explained different process of payments, process of removal, after care and a other questions I had thoroughly. I will definitely be returning for future dental care!

I cannot recommend emergency dental care USA on 8401 NE Halsey st, ste#102 in Portland enough! When my son was in severe pain on the Fourth of July, with his face swollen, they were the ONLY emergency dental office that truly came through for us. Not only did they take him in on a holiday, but they also provided incredibly honest and compassionate advice. Instead of pushing for expensive procedures, they genuinely looked out for our best interest, advising us to go to another practice that accepted our insurance. They even offered to work with us if we couldn't find care elsewhere. This level of integrity and care is truly rare and so appreciated during a stressful time. I was able to make an appointment online for 1 and a half hours later that day. Diagnosed me with a root canal. I’ve had a couple root canals and this doctor was the best. Staff is super nice.

*EDIT - June 30, 2026: I just wanted to update my review. As much as I appreciated Dr. Mo, I have to add something. I was told December 14, 2025, that I would be getting a refund for a bone graft that I did not end up needing but I was already billed for. This is now July 2026, and I still do not have the refund. I have called Shannon on at least three occasions in regard to this. My husband has called Shannon on two occasions for the same reason. We get the same spiel. She'll get right on top of it and talk to "corporate." It is inexcusable that I'm having to spend so much time on this. I've had to talk to the credit card company and file a complaint, I've had to write a complaint to the OR Department of Justice's Consumer Division. I just recently filed a complaint with the OR Board of Dentistry. I cannot even begin to explain not only my disappointment about all of this but also my disgust when I read a number of other reviews on here that have had this exact same experience with this office. One person had to go hire an attorney to get her money back. This is straight up fraud. I've had to get a refund at a dentist's office in the past. It was for $500. Do you know how long it took me to get that refund? Two and a half weeks. I don't know if this is some scam going or what. If I have to get an attorney to take care of all this it is not going to be pretty..... I don’t normally do reviews. I’m leaving one here because there are not enough words in the human language to express my gratitude to Dr. Mo, Angel and Shannon. I called them desperate on a Sunday morning after being up all night with a severe toothache. I called numerous local dentists in the Salem/Keizer area who stated on their sites that they specifically took emergency calls. I finally gave up and started looking towards Portland. I called Dr. Mo’s office and Shannon answered. She could not have been kinder. She was able to get me an appt for three hours later. I’ve had issues with my teeth plus my last dental experience had been extremely bad. The dentist didn’t have time to numb me completely and I sobbed through the whole incident. I explained this to Dr. Mo. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and promised that he would not move forward if I felt any pain. I will go nowhere else but to this office from now on. I cannot tell you how funny, kind and upstanding the people are in this office. I just wanted them to know how much I appreciate them and am so glad that I found them…. Thank you. Donja Brown
