About Emergency Dental Care USA

Emergency Dental Care USA operates on West Linebaugh Avenue in the Citrus Park Community area of Tampa, Florida. Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Emergency Dental Care USA located in Tampa?
Emergency Dental Care USA is on West Linebaugh Avenue in the Citrus Park Community area of Tampa, Florida (33625).
What days is Emergency Dental Care USA open?
Emergency Dental Care USA is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Emergency Dental Care USA offer?
Listed services at Emergency Dental Care USA include Emergency Dentistry. The full list is shown on this page.
Is a dental abscess an emergency?
Yes. An abscess is an infection with a pocket of pus, and the risk is that it spreads into the jaw, neck, or airway. Facial swelling, fever, or difficulty swallowing means it should be treated as urgent rather than something to monitor at home.
How do I stop tooth pain until I can see a dentist?
Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory painkillers usually help more than paracetamol for dental pain, a cold compress against the cheek reduces swelling, and a warm salt-water rinse can ease irritation. None of these treat the cause, so they are a bridge to an appointment rather than a fix.
What causes bad breath and can a dentist help?
Persistent bad breath most often comes from bacteria on the tongue and around the gumline, and gum disease is a frequent underlying cause. Because it is usually oral in origin, a dental examination is a sensible first step.

Amazing experience! So thankful for the care that I received today. I just walked-in on Sunday morning and paper work was quick. No wait time and clearly explained what's the plan is and expected cost with all available options. Shannon at front desk was super helpful, efficient and wasted no time. Doctor Mrs. Niwash was awesome and answered all my questions. So thankful I got prompt care and didn't had to wait or spend more time than needed. Glad to find their practice at convenient location and right opposite to costco at Westchase!

Not at all, I didn't like it, nor did I like the way the person there treated me. They charged me 4500 pesos for two Rucanales. When I go to another clinic with better technology, cleaner, and better service, they charge me 2000. Are they ripping me off here or what?

Please dont go this place . They dont bill insurance they bill you and make you pay them but they don't do service or its not medically neseccasry. The office is dirty and the equipment had stuff on it from other patient that there own machine didnt clean. They over charged me and when I was under the local i was inappropriately touched by a worker. They owe me money and i have proof.

I called about my broken tooth that is causing me some pain. Went in under the impression that most insurances were accepted. Nothing was brought up to me about pricing either before I went in. Receptionist fit me into their schedule and told me they could help. I drove over an hour to get there and upon entering get told my insurance isn’t accepted and I would be given a paper to send a claim to my insurance. I’ve never heard this before so I said okay under the impression that I wouldn’t be charged at all or that much in that moment. Didn’t know there was a charge just to be seen and get X-rays done either so I paid $99 just for that. I waited over an hour in the waiting room before I was seen. I get put in a room where I wait for the dentist to come in and tell me they can remove the tooth for me. The receptionist comes in a little bit later and gives me a paper stating I have to pay $1700+ just for the removal of ONE TOOTH! pricing included things I hadn’t heard of including a bone graft that seems unnecessary. I already knew I wasn’t paying that and was told to apply for financing which I also couldn’t do. I express to the dentist my concern about the pricing and how I drove over an out because all dental offices in my area were closed. It seemed unfair and had gotten my hopes up on getting this tooth out finally to relieve my pain. The dentist then offers me the choice of just removing the nerve in the tooth to help for now but that alone would’ve still costed me $1000! I ended up leaving with a prescription for antibiotics. I left very unhappy, gas and time was wasted and in the end… still in pain. You would think an emergency dental office would work more with people.

So I went in with a tooth that had broken and a large cavity formed and started causing pain… I was able to go in on a Saturday and that was a blessing. They took my tooth out (because im economically challenged and couldn’t afford a root canal). They did a great job it was about 5 mins to get the tooth out. I would use them again!

Shanon, Stephanie, and Dr. Fernandez were amazing. Got me in so fast, advised me of exactly what was going to happen, and was relatively pain free. I had to have 2 teeth pulled and it was infected but they made it as pain free as possible. The whole process didnt take long at all. Highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience at Emergency Dental Care USA on 8553 W Linebaugh Ave, Tampa, FL 33625. I called ahead and specifically asked how much it would cost to remove one tooth. I was clearly told “$99 and over”. Based on that information, I went in expecting transparency. Instead, I waited 2 hours and 45 minutes without receiving any actual treatment. After all that waiting, they brought me a written estimate for $1,789 just to remove one tooth — no procedure had been done, no emergency handled, nothing. This felt extremely misleading and like a bait-and-switch tactic. If the price was going to be that high, it should have been disclosed upfront before making patients wait for hours while in pain. On top of that, the receptionist was very rude, spoke in an excessively loud tone, and showed no empathy or professionalism toward someone seeking emergency care. This place wastes your time, gives misleading pricing, and treats patients poorly. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone needing honest emergency dental care. Stay away everyone
