About Emergency Dental Care USA

Based on Spring Valley Road in Farmers Branch, Texas, Emergency Dental Care USA is a dental practice serving the area. Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Emergency Dental Care USA located in Farmers Branch?
Emergency Dental Care USA is on Spring Valley Road in Farmers Branch, Texas (75244).
What days is Emergency Dental Care USA open?
Emergency Dental Care USA is open seven days a week. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Emergency Dental Care USA offer?
Listed services at Emergency Dental Care USA include Emergency Dentistry. The full list is shown on this page.
What should I do if a tooth gets knocked out?
Pick the tooth up by the crown rather than the root, rinse it gently without scrubbing, and try to place it back in the socket. If that is not possible, keep it in milk and get to a dentist quickly — the chances of saving it drop sharply after the first hour.
How do I stop tooth pain until I can see a dentist?
Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory painkillers usually help more than paracetamol for dental pain, a cold compress against the cheek reduces swelling, and a warm salt-water rinse can ease irritation. None of these treat the cause, so they are a bridge to an appointment rather than a fix.
Why do dentists take X-rays?
Decay between teeth and problems below the gumline are invisible to the naked eye, so X-rays are what reveal them. Modern digital images use a low dose and are taken only when clinically justified.

Due to an emergency, I was a walk in. The receptionist at the desk informed me that the doctor had just left to attend to an event. Apparently they were the only doctor at that location. Should have more than one doctor at any given time during business hours, especially if this is an "emergency" facility. Drove 30 more minutes to the nearest facility with emergency services with acute tooth pain due to this inconvenience.

I want to say thank you for the best dental experience I’ve had in my life! I’m no longer afraid of the dentist in general! Your team and especially the dentistry provided for my tooth extraction were phenomenal! In and out within the hour and pain free after a few days in pain. I’m on day 3 of healing and it’s so smooth and I’m starting to feel much like myself again. Prices are way better in my opinion and much more manageable. I will come again with more work to be done. Thank you

I've had a bad experience with a different dental office which had me uneasy about any others. Last night, my tooth started hurting and the pain became unbearable through the night. This morning I searched for emergency dental services near me and found this location. The first call to the office made me feel as though they were more concerned about my pain rather than just trying to get my business. After a brief consultation, I scheduled for a few hours later to go into the office. I made it 1 hour earlier than my appointment and was prepared to wait. Nope, the ladies at the front desk were really down to earth and expressed empathy while allowing me to get checked in early. I was immediately taken to the back and they provided me with some medication to ease the pain and while that kicked in, I waited for the doctor. The medicine worked fast and I believe I may have even dozed off, the pain had left. Shortly after, the physician came in and he was just as concerned as the rest of the staff. Down to earth, wholesome, professional and knowledgeable I would say is the best description for the entire office staff. The doctor thoroughly explained my exam in a manner that was relatable and understandable. They provided payment options and companies to assist with payment which was great. They were ready to pull my teeth the same day but I needed to come back. They provided me with a RX to be filled and game plan for post office visits. This office is truly 10s across the board. I've definitely found my dental home.

I have been a patient for a number of years. No problems in the past everything has always been great. Today I had a tooth extracted. Bleeding has not stopped in over 3 hours. No answer at the office. Website says they close at 9pm.

The doctor took his time with me, was very empathetic and informative. One of the best experiences with a very sympathetic and competent staff, if I could give it 6 stars I would.

I’ve been here twice but this time I was the one getting treatment. They were able to fit me quickly, get my issue resolved, it was pretty dang painless and I’m happy I chose them. They were able to work with my insurance company that I didn’t think I was gonna be able to use, but it got half of my treatment covered, I’m very thankful that they were able to try and get something!
