STAY AWAY! I needed multiple tooth extractions and a bone filling. After being pressured sign up for a third party payment plan to pay the 6000$ balance, I left and went to two actually reputable dentists and was quoted 1.5-2K for the same procedure. When I tried to get Emergency Dentist to send my prior completed X-rays they refused. This place is extremely unprofessional and charges scam rates.
I had a great experience with Dr. Isaac and the team at Emergency Dentist NYC. I came in with a cracked tooth, and they were able to fix it quickly and efficiently. All of the staff was friendly, professional, and very transparent about pricing from the start. Also the office is super clean and organized. They also helped submit everything to my insurance for reimbursement, and I ended up receiving a full reimbursement. I truly appreciate their honesty and great care. Highly recommend!
This was a cleaning done in 15 mins..so not very thorough at all, done very hastily and without any care. E.g. imagine the suction tube being dragged across your hair, your face, hitting the sides of your mouth whenever they try to insert into your mouth. Very hasty and rough scraping of teeth, so a lot of sensitiveness and pain when I usually don't experience any. Barely any polishing, very haphazard smearing across your teeth. No doctor to say anything about health of your teeth, any issues you were having, to evaluate the X-rays you took. "Dr Sung" was supposed to the dentist in charge but it was just a hygienist or probably untrained admin person doing the work. This place exists just to get the insurance money. They didn't seem surprised when I said I didn't want a follow up appointment, so I think they get that response a lot. Go anywhere else but here.
Excellent On time- addressed my concerns and gave me possible solutions to my problem Very impressed with the office and staff - will def come back
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was one of the worst healthcare experiences I've had. I came to this office with two infected teeth and was in significant pain. During the extraction procedure, I repeatedly felt that I was not adequately numb. Despite having a high pain tolerance, I was crying during the extractions because of how painful the procedure felt. Instead of feeling listened to or reassured, I felt dismissed. One comment made by the dentist about being "overwhelmed" felt particularly frustrating because I wasn't overwhelmed. I was in pain while having infected teeth pulled. The financial side of this experience was even more upsetting. I was uninsured at the time and paid approximately $5,000 up front. My understanding from the consultation was that this treatment would include the extractions and replacement teeth once I had healed. I was told to come back in about six months. When I returned, I was informed that replacement teeth would cost approximately $7,000 more. When I expressed surprise, I was told that I was remembering the original discussion incorrectly. Whether this was a misunderstanding, poor communication, or something else, the result is that I left feeling misled and deeply disappointed. I would never have proceeded under the belief that the total cost would be around $12,000 for two teeth. What bothers me most is that emergency dental patients are often in a vulnerable position. We are in pain, scared, and sometimes uninsured. We rely on providers to be transparent and compassionate because we are making major decisions under stress. Unfortunately, I left feeling that neither happened here. I have since decided to seek care elsewhere because I no longer trust this office. I cannot recommend it based on my experience.
Personally I wouldn't trust: We called and specifically asked if our insurance was "in-network". They assured that they were. The week before, they called and text to comfirm the appointment, both had different times. While doing the teeth cleaning, the dentist kept up selling me services that I kept nodding I didn't want (couldn't speak). I needed a filling and they only offered me the top costing one. Out of pocket cost (1.2k), ofcourse. A few week later I get an out of network bill. Luckily i said no to the filling, the price (bill) would have been even higher. So make extra sure. Don't trust their word.
If I could give more than five stars, I would! Here's five more * * * * *! Dr. Isaac and his team deserve every accolade I could give them. But, first, a little history. I have a morbid fear of dentists stemming from traumatic childhood experiences. I will not go into detail, suffice to say that my fear resulted in decades of neglect. After losing a number of teeth and having the remaining ones shift around due to advanced gum disease, I was finally compelled to have much-needed work done. I selected Dr. Isaac and Emergency Dental Care specifically because they deal with patients who have a deep fear of dentists. My first two trips were simply consultations; just sitting in the chair gave me fear sweat. As it turns out, I needed complete upper arch reconstruction with all my teeth to be removed and replaced with a bridge. This work, and the temporary bridge, was done this weekend. So, where can I begin… First, the professionalism of everyone there, from the front desk to the assistants and doctor himself, was exemplary. They all were gentle, reassuring, kind, and understanding. Second, between my initial consultation and today, the whole team kept in constant contact with me. I am not a big fan of phone calls, but they were all happy to accommodate me using text and e-mail as well. At no point was I ever made to wait to have my questions answered or receive a reply, either in person or otherwise. Third, I was keep well informed about what to expect and when. These explanations were on point accurate and consistent, which goes a long way with me. Fourth, and probably the most important – I was expecting a vast amount of persistent pain. It never happened, the mild discomfort I am experiencing is wonderfully well below what I had expected. In short, I highly recommend this establishment. Dr. Issac, his surgical team, and his staff are all lovely people, professional, and they do an amazing job!
I visited this dental clinic due to a dental fracture that occurred the night before. I informed both the front desk and noted explicitly that I was there for a fracture. Dr. Lee examined me, and despite me clearly communicating severe pain in a specific area, the same spot was probed multiple times. Only after repeated distress did they suggest numbing the area. The clinic proceeded with numerous X-rays and a full dental cleaning—unnecessary for my immediate fracture. When I questioned the necessity, Dr. Lee told me to “calm down” rather than demonstrating empathy or professionalism. Dr. Lee further told me I had periodontal disease and that I needed urgent treatment. This frightened me. However, I later visited my trusted dentist and an endodontist—both of whom confirmed I do not have periodontal disease. Had I followed Dr. Lee’s recommendations, I would have been facing the risk of a tooth abscess and potential extraction. Instead, my actual treatment was a root canal due to the fracture. While a root canal isn’t great news, it was far safer. I strongly caution others from taking Dr. Lee’s diagnosis at face value. I am grateful I sought a second opinion to avoid serious harm.
Made an appointment with Dr Reyes, told them when I made the appointment I was paying for myself, was not informed till I reached the appointment there would be a 3% charge for credit cards…ok fine , not thrilled but ok… get taken back to get exrays and settled in a room to find that I’m not seeing the dentist i chose, now I’m really not happy, shady to not disclose when checking in that Dr Reyes wasn’t there. Can’t exactly leave and reschedule because they’ve already treated you to an extent.. after a 500$ consultation for an issue i didn’t need consulting for, ( had a loose wisdom tooth that needed extraction) they preceded to try to extort another 1500$ for one , non impacted, hanging loose tooth to be removed. Absolute worst experience ! Now I’m out 500$ , my time and still need to have my issue resolved , unprofessional , non transparent business practices. Would not recommend.
Excellent service. I needed an emergent extraction and they were the only office that I could find. They were very pleasant and patient. The Doctor and his staff were excellent. I will be coming back for more dental work. I also appreciate the follow up text to see how I was doing the next day.

10/10 experience. I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone here. After weeks of being in pain, I finally felt relief — and the whole process was simple and reassuring from start to finish. Every single person I interacted with — the dentist, the assistants, the specialists, and the front desk — was kind, patient, and made me feel genuinely cared for. I felt understood here in a way I hadn’t anywhere else over the past few weeks. The entire team showed real empathy and made a really tough situation feel manageable. I’m so grateful for all of you.
