I can not say enough good things about Dr Lundgren and his staff. I have seen him a few times this spring & summer and the root canal he gave me went quickly & smoothly and I've not had a bit of problem with it. Then when I saw him again because I thought I would need another one, to my happy surprise I did not. He is all about not doing unnecessary treatments and saving your teeth and I just love his easy going, fun personality. His assistants are always so kind and attentive too and the receptionist are friendly and helpful. I feel blessed to have found this doctor and I will continue to seek care here if or when needed and always highly recommend this office to anyone in need of quality endodontic care.

Have you ever found yourself singing as you drove home from the dentist? Well I did. I woke up with a throbbing pain in my jaw and I knew immediately what it was. I made a same day appointment with an in-network dentist and did everything I could to stave off the pain. I went to see doctor Hwang Marino in Orange Park who was kind and gentle. His auxiliary staff were also very patient and accommodating. Dr Marino did what he could then referred me to Dr Lundgren. Dr Lundgren blew me away! Due to other health issues I have had a lot of interactions with medical professionals and I can quickly figure out who takes the Hippocratic oath seriously and who thinks he is Christ reborn. Dr Lundgren seeks to do no harm. It was a long procedure but was surprisingly pain-free. Dr Lundgren and the PA worked seamlessly and I felt I was in the best hands. I found myself singing with my Playlist (careful not to bite my tongue) as I drove through afternoon traffic on my way home. And I lived happily ever after.

Absolute best place to go. If you have medical anxiety or complex dental issues, come here. The office staff are so kind and the doctors genuinely care if you are in pain.

Thank you Dr. Lundgren for the outstanding care! I visited Dr. Lundgren for an emergency retreatment of an old root canal on my upper molar. From the moment I arrived, the entire team of assistants from front office to the care team were professional, friendly, and reassuring. Dr. Lundgren explained everything clearly and made the whole process very comfortable. His skills, attention to detail, and calm demeanor immediately put me at ease so much so that without being sedated, I fell asleep during the procedure and I think I heard myself snoring a couple times. I truly appreciated the care and compassion shown throughout the visit and highly recommend Dr. Lundgren.

Had they been forthcoming about the cost of the procedure and the fact that I would have to go to my Dentist to get a permanent filling; I would not have had the procedure done. My insurance sent me to them stating that even if it wasn't covered that they would give me a good rate. I assumed that is what happened when I paid for my initial visit and the payment I made on procedure day. I especially did not expect a bill for even more money. It would have been much cheaper just to pull the tooth and I am regretting not doing that. If you are on a fixed income, shop around and don't just go with who your recommended to by your Insurance company. I've learned my lesson the hard way.

A sincere thank you to Dr Lundgren & Loukisha. I understand many people have anxiety about sitting in a dental chair - apparently I’m one of those many. As I was falling apart at the thought of dental work - Loukisha (in only a way that one could with the experience & compassion for her patients) held my hand, talked me through the process & subsided my anxiety. Loukisha is listening to Dr Lundgrens requests for tools, processing the data he’s calling out, managing her side of the procedure & still had me as a forethought. What an incredible experience - don’t think it could’ve gone any better. A testament to how they care for patients is shown by example. Thank you to everyone on Dr Lundgrens team. I had an excellent experience at Endodontic Excellence. Lili and Chloe were extremely helpful and responsive in setting up the appointment and reviewing all insurance options with me. From the moment I arrived, Loukisha was incredibly personable, professional, and attentive. She made me feel comfortable right away and took the time to answer any of my questions. Dr. Lundgren explained the procedure very thoroughly step-by-step letting me know exactly what is going to happen. The procedure itself went very smoothly. The office uses the latest technology, including the GentleWave system, which is impressive and clearly contributed to the overall experience. I had absolutely no pain during the procedure, and everything was handled with great care and precision. Dr. Lundgren and Loukisha were very calm and reassuring, which added to the confidence I felt throughout the visit. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs endodontic care. They made what could’ve been a stressful procedure feel easy and comfortable.

I was referred here through VA Community Care for a root canal and had an excellent experience. Dr. John P. Lundgren and his assistant Desiree worked together like a well-rehearsed symphony — calm, precise, and completely in sync. The procedure went smoothly, pain was well managed, and I felt genuinely cared for the entire time. And a small detail that made a big difference: they had Morgan Wallen playing on Pandora in the background. It was so relaxing I actually went back inside afterward just to ask what the playlist was. It made me feel calm, grounded, and oddly at home — not something you usually say about dental work.
